Change of plans

The weather was awful with a full scale storm coming in over the Atlantic. We decided not to risk the ferry being cancelled the following morning so we caught the evening ferry back to the mainland. We visited the property to advise them that we wouldn't be staying for the night. Lovely property and nice staff who understood our dilemma.

Unfortunately the booking was non cancellable so we lost £100, which is one negative aspect of booking through Booking.com.

Nothing - some of the taps in our lodge needed maintenance but it was coming to end of season and didn’t affect us.

It’s camping, not glamping! Very disappointing.

It was on Inis Mor.

Shower was moldy. Bathroom floor edges cruddy. No outside table for use with 2 chairs. Very small space. A roll out sofa bed would give you no room to walk. Definitely not for 4 persons. No Wifi in pods. The rock fence is so tall you cannot see the beach in front of you when you sit on the chairs on the cement patio. Have to get hair dryer from office;not available in pods. no space to put a suitcase. Two narrow shelves for “stuff”; 4 pegs for hanging items.

It was clean and well organised

The tents for camping very very close to the glamping pod, and it felt a bit more crowded than we were expecting for the price. The room was quite hot, with no option to turn down the heat.

I loved that the property was beach front! It was so relaxing waking up next to the water. The sauna was a great touch, we used it both days and it was such a treat! Also the sunrise is absolutely amazing from the property.

Perfect break away in paradise ☀️

It was cosy and comfy with just enough space for a short stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, fulfilling any requests immediately. The location is quality, right next to the beach with the clearest water I have ever seen. There were excellent cooking facilities and a short walk into town so perfect location for a stay on this beautiful island.

Cute and unique Glamp on the beach.

It was definitely a fun and unique experience while staying on the Aran Island. Cute little room “Glamping”. After a long day involving a ferry, biking around the island, and walking along the beaches it was a nice place to crash and just be left alone for the night. Complete unplug yourself and submit yourself to the natural beauty the island has to offer. So glad we went and had the experience, but it is something we would only do once.

The property has strict no noise policy between certain times but that rule is hard to enforce with all the cots in close proximity of each other and windows and doors are often left open in the summer months-or in our case a heat wave in May. So we got woken up several times in the night by loud neighbors. Again, no fault of the property-just something to be aware of if you’re like me and a light sleeper booking this property. Ear plugs and a fan go a long way. I will also add it is a more expensive booking, especially when you compare other B&B experiences that include breakfast. But I believe you are paying for the experience and the views, which was obviously fine with me. Again, for us at least, it was a one time experience and a very enjoyable opportunity while exploring the island.

Amazing views and really perfect lay out in the little cabin. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The onsite sauna was fabulous and you are literally across the road from a quiet beach.

I've stayed previously so knew what to expect, brilliant location, friendly staff and clean. In general very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Girl working in the reception area was so friendly. Definitely will visit again and recommend to friends. View was amazing and cabins very good value. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants.

It is in a fabulous location and all rooms have sea view. It is close to everything. There is also free sauna

It was amazing and I would definitely recommend it

It's such a fabulous place, the location of the pods are amazing. We woke up to the most beautiful scenes every morning. The pods are a really lovely way to spend a few nights.

The pods could do with a spruce up. It's only a small thing but the pod could do with a little maintenance. Both my friend's and my pod had creaky doors and my coat hangers fell off and a panel was missing from the front of my pod. That's only looking for something to complain about though!

Relaxing

I spent the night in a pod by myself. It is really cozy and had great facilities. The view was amazing, and the sky was full of stars. The sauna was lovely too, and the staff were friendly. It's just a short walk to the pier and the city amenities. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had 2 units, one for 4 of us (a larger unit) and another for 2 other guests.

Easy check-in and staff was very pleasant. The room was clean although just a little bare bones, but I think that is the idea with glamping. We did have towels placed for 4. Many times a hotel will only provide a set for 2 even though you tell them there are 4 persons. So that was appreciated. Overall we had a very nice stay.

The price was a little high for the fact it is a shed like structure. But I was happy to get a reservation as all other accommodations were full several months out. Two small things that would really help are: some type of shelf for the shower to hold your shampoo and the like. The second would be hooks on the walls to hang up towels so they can be drying. When a person is 70 years old it is much harder to pick things up off the shower floor, especially without slipping. It is a sad fact that older people fall much easier.

The location, staff and facilities were great . The place was sparkling clean . The vibe was friendly on the campsite . Walking onto the beach in the mornings was just heaven .

Kitchen sink leaking all over the floor, lack of pots, plates and cleaning cloths in communal area. Cleaning staff could visit more frequently during busy times. No self service coffee machine in pods as in the picture on line.
