Delicious fresh water spring in the house - could not get enough of the water!
Location is amazing in heart of the Burren , but not within walking distance of Ballyvaughan . Prepare to taxi / drive to restaurants, but it's not far.

The building was lovely and the rooms including the breakfast room and the public lounge areas were beautiful with lovely furnishings which gave the place a really nice unique atmosphere. I liked playing chess in one of the rooms with a nice live lit fire. The hosts were nice. Breakfast was really nice and liked how you can have continental and a cooked to order breakfast.
Firstly and the most important thing was the rooms we booked were freezing cold, when contacted the hosts did put the heating on but after we returned from dinner for the night it was still not warm. The rooms were quite small not a lot of space for a suitcase. The beds were also small, not that comfortable but the worst thing was that it felt like no one had used that side of the house in a while between the toilet flush being broken, heating off and the fact that the bed sheets smelled bad like damp or musty, which was really off putting to put your face on a pillow that smelt like that. This should have been checked and fresh sheets been put on. Bathroom didn’t match the rest of the furnishings or look so it felt mismatched and there were tiles broken in the bath/shower which felt run down. The toilet flush stopped working and we had to turn some lever thing for it to fill up again. No notes anywhere about how this worked or why it would have stopped we just figured it out ourselves. Overall these things made our stay a little uncomfortable.
