The location is wonderful! The property is so homely, comfortable and yet eccentric! The hosts are welcoming and warm!

Our room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Our hosts were super friendly and extremely welcoming. We hadn't used Bed and Breakfasts prior to this trip so this experience was a wonderful surprise and made our trip all the more memorable. We would definitely stay here again. I wish we had been able to stay longer but our schedule just wouldn't allow it. It is rather remote but that's is what makes this place unique.
I can't think of anything I didn't like about staying here.

Good location
Good breakfast
Room was very uncomfortable, poorly lit, not very clean, beds small and uncomfortable. Felt more like a student dormitory than a real B&B. No charm and no quality.

lovely, unique spot with very nice host/hostess. They went out of their way. Very nice breakfast and also a spot to sit in front of fire in the evening with a bar area you can self serve noting what you drank (to settle your bill later). We enjoyed sitting with other guests in the evening and the room was nice too.
was just a little cold but there was a lovely, well made bed and plenty of blankets. room was cool for my taste but that is my personal preference.

The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful - above and beyond. The ambience throughout this property is magical and so memorable. Wish we had more time to sit by the fire in one of the charming common rooms with a drink from the bar. Breakfast was heavenly - and also very generous. They have created such a welcome and cozy feeling, you just want to stay in and soak it all up. Our group had 3 bedrooms, all were very comfortable and full of character.

Absolutely loved this adorable charming bed and breakfast. Owners Wolfgang and Maria were delightful and so helpful all the way through.
The WiFi was pretty bad. If I’d have needed it for work I would have been in trouble.

Beautiful theatrical experience , spotlessly clean , loved the curation and comfort of the sitting rooms , the indoor fresh water spring adds to the mystery of this Fabulous hotel , will definitely be back .
Nothing, short drive into local towns for dinner, not a problem as the hotel had informed us prior to our arrival

Extraordinary set of buildings featuring reclaimed antique elements. Just stunning with a walled interior garden, a spring house integrated into the building. Wonderful hosts. Two comfortable sitting rooms with fires lit in the evening. Library, games. The breakfast was outstanding too! Just 7 minutes from Ballyvaughan, and you pass a castle on the way.
Absolutely nothing.

I LOVED this place and could happily have spent days here holed up in the cosy bar in front of the open fire. The decor. The use of colours and so much more. Fabulous breakfast too. And the hosts Wolfgang and Maria were so welcoming and friendly

Although it is a little off the beaten track it is a real gem! Interesting and beautiful in its appointments, large comfortable room, self serve bar on the honor system, with the ever affable and interesting host, Wolfgang. Delicious breakfast too! I could spend a long time here, I think, although we had only one night.

Favourite place I’ve stayed. The well is AMAZING!! Loved all the furniture, the library, the sitting room and all the beautiful trees around. Bathtubs were great. Could’ve stayed a week. The hosts were awesome too!
Nothing! All was great!

Very nicely laid out with comfortable common areas. Has a real Sud Tyrrol ski chalet vibe.

We stayed at The Waters Country House during our trip through the Irish countryside and it was like stepping into a fairytale. The house is absolutely stunning—full of charm and character. Our host, Wolfgang, was very kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful setting with unique furniture and warm lighting, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We also recommend booking a table at Monks restaurant nearby—local taxi drivers make it easy to get there without a car. A very special place we’d love to return to!

This is a beautiful guest house in a slightly out of the way location. If you like peace and quiet this is perfect. Quiet areas to sit, read and relax. Some very unique features to the house. Lovely courteous host. Very enjoyable home cooked breakfast.

Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts welcoming. The room was cozy and comfortable. Loved that there was a bathtub in the bathroom. The place is a little out of the way, but that did not affect our plans as we stayed just one night and were going to Galway in the morning. Enjoyed the "European hunting lodge" feel to the place.
Nothing really.

A quirky and characterful house in the most amazing location. Warm and welcoming hosts and a great Irish breakfast.
Could do with some soundproofing as could hear noises from adjacent room

Stunning location with beautiful views in the heart of the Burren. The house has two beautiful living rooms where guests can relax by the fireplace while reading one of the many books or magazines on display on the shelves and coffee tables. The decor is unique, and the water spring that goes straight through the house is pure genius! The carefully curated and maintained garden is the ideal place to relax after a day visiting the region. The rooms and the common areas are extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. This place is a work of love.
Nothing. Beautiful guesthouse.

It is a very cozy manor and castle feel. Historical decor and an amazing staff. The breakfast and service was excellent. Wolfgang and Maria were very hospitable. It also had a great view of the countryside.
It’s a little off of the main road but worth the drive and a good value

Location was perfect. We were able to walk through a forested path into town. Perfect hosts at this B and B. Very friendly and helpful for any questions or help we needed. Best breakfast so far on our trip. The B and B is very different in decor from many places we have stayed but we found it extremely interesting and cozy with the fire lit in the common rooms

Beautiful inn! Several beautiful rooms in main house to relax in with comfy chairs and a fireplace. The room was well appointed and the bedding was some of the nicest I encountered on my trip. Breakfast was first rate!
Next time, I’ll request a room in the main house just for the convenience.

It was an extraordinary experience to stay in such a beautiful home where guest comfort was a priority for the kind and generous hosts. The breakfast was fantastic with candles and full place settings at every table. Gathering with other guests around the fire in the evening was cozy and memorable.

Beautiful, old structure with furnishings and art from around the world. The owner greeted us when we arrived. We were upgraded to a better room- it was beautiful! The Burren Suite. Large room, sitting area, comfortable canopy bed, large bathroom. Excellent breakfast with many options.

This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.
My husband felt like the interior was too red and Dracula vibes, but the rest of us loved it so I think that's a him problem. 😆

The location was perfect for our road trip. The drive in was lovely and they’ve organized the property so well to give residential areas as well as communal areas
The parking situation was a bit crowded, and its gravel lots and not every car was parked in an organized manner so we had to create a spot off on the grass

Such a unique property! Super cozy and inviting- beds comfortable + hosts super kind and friendly! We left our hotel in Galway to stay here for the night and it was definitely worth it! Sitting by the fire in the evening was magic :)

A very pretty B & B in a beautiful country setting. This B & B was unique and full of charm. The host was very welcoming and took the effort to show us around the accommodation. A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay
Rooms were a little noisy but this does not detract from this lovely B & B.
