Great location, the different braai options were convenient, short walk to the beach, lovely birdlife.

attention-to-detail cleaning is necessary, appliances such as the kettle, toaster should be updated, mould in the ice machine, noisy ceiling fans depending on the speed selected

They property was very close to the beach and the house was well equipped.

The house was clean and spacious. Ample space for a big family. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back. The house had both antique charm and modern elegance.

Passable

Location and venue great. Unfortunately the kitchen was terribly dirty. On request staff came to clean but only cleant some of the things. Potjie pots so disgusting would never use. Place needs maintenance. Door handles fall off. Braai tongs unusable. Gas ran out. Knives cannot cut even a tomatoe. Place could be outstanding if attention was paid to maintenance and cleanliness. Few basic things to make guests feel special. We stay in paternoster often and this does not meet the standard of other cheaper ones

It would have been different if there were no building workmen and noise next door.

Very easy to get to the sea. The view was from the second floor's stoeps and the wind was a factor to sitting there and watching. Loved the cutlery and crockery and the main bedroom is nice and big. No Internet - as advertised - though

They are building on the property just next door! We were not told that there would be builders, nor about the compacting, concrete throwing etc. And it will be there for a long time still as they have just thrown the ground floor's concrete. The building inevetably comes with a lot of dust and sand as the wind did it's tradition proud! A major let down ....
