A characterful property surrounded by lovely gardens. Staff went out of their way to give us a warm welcome and look after us during our stay. A spacious suite of rooms with pleasant outside space to relax.
Karen's help and information about what to do in the area was much appreciated.
The bathroom was somewhat dated.

Rosenhof is close to town and the owner give us free coffees and homemade bread on arrival. She also decided to give us a free upgrade during our stay so we had access to a kitchen and a lounge. She was also very helpful and provided us with a lot of info and recommendations on the Cederberg.
The shower needed to be redone. The shower glass no longer had a seal at the bottom which means that each time you showered, the water leaked all over the floors. The shower head was also broken, so water just ran out of it like a tap. The base of the shower (which was the bath) was also scratched and someone seemed to have done half a job in fixing it. The fix has now turned a brown colour and it made the bath look dirty. The ceiling light fixtures were broken and the dead light bulbs need to be replaced. The oven also needs maintenance; the temperature setting dial is not working properly.
