Great location, a beautifully decorated home with a well equipped kitchen.

Somehow a scammer got hold of some details and made remote communication with the booking agent difficult but no harm was done and once we were in the location the booking agent was v helpful.

Fantastic property let down by sub par service

Fantastic property with every amenity you can possibly need. Great location, rooms and facilities.

The rental / managing agents were probably the worst we have come across in our 30 years of traveling. Ignored our request for a slightly later check out. Ignored the fact that checkout as per Booking.com was up to 11am. Cleaners kicked us out at 10am - my 75 year mother still half dressed and in tears - whilst being rude. Completely ruined a wonderful family weekend that we only get the chance to do once a year

My second stay at Sterretjie! The thought that goes into making your stay at Sterretjie memorable. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils and appliances. I also like what was done upstairs with the second bedroom.

The beds and rooms were comfortable!

Housekeeper was still cleaning the property when we arrived despite me being in the office at 1:55pm to get the keys and the rental agent saying it was ready! It was no where near ready when we got to the property. The rental agency is totally to blame in this situation as I work in hospitality and know one housekeeper cannot flip a 6 bedroom property in one hour! Bin full of rotting meat which stank the whole house out so we had to boil to death with the windows closed, toilet was broken - which the housekeeper had reported to the agency from the previous tenants complaints and never fixed , all the plates, platters, and cups are chipped!!! Embarrassing for me to host my aunts 80th in this house!!!

Fabulous. Me and my friends loved our stay in Paternoster at Sterretjie

Sterretjie is very well equipped for a family or friends vacation in Paternoster. Just a minute from the beach we had the most incredible time. It’s not super luxe but has everything you might wish for. We loved our stay at Sterretjie.

All was great. It looks a bit dated in parts but that did not detract from the stay. Beds a bit hard, but that’s a personal preference.

Fun and relaxing

Situated in a quiet Cul Da Sac, house is very spacious, well appointed and clean. Check in was fairly simple and friendly. There are several very good restaurants nearby and the beach is only a short walk away.

We were not on the beach, there was only parking for 1 vehicle in the garage, the others had to stand outside

Lovely place for a weekend away with family.

The property had everything we needed for a long weekend away with the family. Perfectly kitted out with everything. Super close to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. Really enjoyed our stay.

The continuous attempts by local hawkers trying to sell their mussels and crayfish. And then getting aggressive when we didn't want to buy.

House was comfortable and well equipped. There was quality linen throughout. Very friendly staff servicing the property. Bathrooms were more than adequate.

The photo gallery suggested an unrestricted beach view. This property is surrounded by other properties and has limited sea view. This is different from the impression created by the photo gallery. We were quite disappointed by this. Also consideration should be given to alternative energy sources at such an upmarket location as we were heavily affected by load shedding with no alternative(in comparison with other similarly priced properties elsewhere.

Big house kinda near the beach

It is not directly on the beach front, but is a very short walk from the beach. The house is very big, comfortable and can accommodate lots of people. Bathrooms are nice.

We were not aware that this property is shared with a flat on the same property. They have a separate entrance and don't disturb the main house, but we were unaware of this completely when we booked. There were also mouse droppings in the kitchen cupboards and the mouse came to visit us while we were having dinner 😂
