Great house, cracking sounds

The house is very clean and tidy. Has everything you need. Fully equipped. Beautiful lawn. A block away from the beach. 1 garage parking and parking for 3 cars outside. Comfortably decorated house.

The beds were loud. Every time you turn while laying down, or any movement, made loud cracking sounds. When walking upstairs, it sounds like a thunderstorm when you are downstairs. The noises of simple light walking upstairs is unbearable. Mattresses are very hard too.

On the positive the house was clean with good quality linen.

Will not recommend it at all. VERY noisy with creaky hardwood floors in upstairs rooms. Steep unfriendly stairs. Loose Roofsheets that rattled terribly in the wind.

No name or number on house to identify it. Lack basic stuff eg hairdryer, swimming towels, outside chairs, umbrella, shower soap and shampoo, place to put down stuff in bathroom or hooks to hang, kichen basics eg salt&pepper&sugar. If you do not supply basics to be expected in a house of this price , you should list it as such in your listing. Not guest friendly at all!

Relaxing stay

Beautiful family house that caters for adults, children and pets. Multiple braai facilities and a comfortable lounge. The unit is close to the beach and restaurants.

The location is perfect. The property space is great with kids and beautiful garden.

The rooms and cupboards very dusty. Mold almost in every bedroom and in all bathrooms. There was literally a puddle of water under the bed in the on suite bedroom.

The location is great, close to the sea, and the environment of the house is also very nice, you may do self-cook very convenient, it is a great trip.

Amazing!

It has been my second stay at De Nada for the year. It is the perfect holiday home, has all amenities, very clean and management is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return, it is indeed value for money.

Very good

The house is very comfortable and spacious for a group of friends or family. The linen was clean and furniture comfortable. The location of the house is great and the two separate braai areas as well as a big indoor woodfired heater is such a treat.

The kitchen lights tripped out every 10minutes or so. There was very little toilet paper provided and also no coffee, but that is not the worst. There was a very smelly potjie pot in the kitchen on the counter when we arrived.

we did really enjoy the stay at De Nada and I would be keen to book the house again.

The location is fantastic in relation to the beach, the house is nice and cool during the day which is great. it is perfect location to have sunset on the beach, and the outside braai area in the garden is great. We spent most of the time on the beach and the outside shower is so great for after, also the fact that is is private is really a win.

the outside of the home in the braai area had loads of small pieces of glass. this is really not ideal as we had 2 tiny kids with us, but even the adults got cut walking around. the coal from the last fire was dumped on the grass. the Lights in kitchen only stay on for 20 mins at a time. the bedroom lights had blown completely. this is of course a cleaning issue and is easily resolved. It wouldnt stop me booking the house, but definitely needs to be addressed. also just a note is that when you flush the upstairs loo, the noise is incredibly loud and at night wakes the whole house. One thing we would really like to request for your next guests, is that your book says you have to sleep with all windows closed, but only one room is equipped with a fan. it was 34 degrees at midnight when we were there, and in the height of summer this is madness to have no fans.

Large, peaceful and modern

Very comfortable and close to the beach on a lovely quiet side of town. Good spaces for solo time and then social time. Very well appointed with everything you need in the drawers and cupboards. Appreciated the dishwasher. Great appliances. Lovely linen.

Upstairs floorboards very creaky, beds a little small and creaky too. Floor was a little dirty but everything else was very clean.

Disappointing

It’s a nice place but the place wasn’t clean. We had to wipe all the counters and both fridges, it was very dirty, even the bathrooms were not cleaned. Especially during Covid-19 times, we expected the place to be cleaned properly.
