Great holiday home to relax in

We loved sitting and talking on the stoep, watching the world go by. Beach very close and house didn’t get hot. Lovely big rooms and baths.

It’s relaxing and cozy and really good value for money

It’s close to the beach. It had everything you would need in a stay with some extra to make the stay more comfortable and cozy

The kitchen utensils needs to be replaced. Knives are blunt and worn down. The showers need a proper deep clean. The toilets leaked water

The blankets provided were very small, not big enough to cover both people in the provided double beds. The wifi didnt work. We informed the host about this upon arrival. It seemed to have sorted itself out shortly after reporting the jssue, but the wifi disappeared again soon after. We just left it after this.

Relaxing weekend away in a beautiful beach cottage.

When we arrived, there was lots of dog faeces in the back yard and the garden area. We were grateful that the reception area sent someone to clean it up.

An amazing 40th birthday weekend

The fact that it had three bathrooms was awesome as we were three. The main bedroom was beautiful and the house was fully equipped. The important thing was that the Birthday girl had a blast and she did.

The location was wonderful.close to the beach.I could open the doors in the bathroom and hear the ocean and look into the blue sky..The beds were very comfortable and bedding was light but toasty..I was very satisfied with this accommodation

Unfortunately we felt harassed by the locals to buy the seashells.we did buy a heart of shells and I love it but we were then followed around and young boy even came knocking on our door to buy.those boys should be in school and paternoster should perhaps do a market so that the accommodation can remain a safe haven.

The house was very dirty. The house clearly had not been swept or dusted for a while. There were crumbs and dirt on the table and couch. There was also pet hair in the shower.

Lovely unit, close to the beach, quiet location, perfect for 1 couple.

Beautiful Master Bedroom Suite, lovely seaside decorations and details arranged with love, even in the bathroom. Great access to the small balcony, perfect for a sundowner. Kitchen was well equipped and I loved the hanging shelves. Beautiful decorations in the lounge, felt like a real home. Great shade cover for the car.

I gave my visiting sister-in-law from abroad the Master Bedroom upstairs. I used the second bedroom and bathroom downstairs and was utterly disappointed. I was definitely in a very sobering servants quarter!!! Why such a lack of attention, carelessness, not a single tiny decoration in the room and bathroom? Only 5 pieces of plain old furniture and one super ugly, bare walls and a non- functioning table lamp. Please advertise a 1 bedroom suite and “ Possibility for a second bed downstairs!” The Veldmuis does not deserve that sad room & bathroom! 😢☹️

Beautiful style house that fits in with what would expect in Paternoster. Well located close to the beach. Well equipped for self catering.

When we arrived, we were informed that the geyser was faulty and that someone would come to fix it later the afternoon. The geyser was fixed with no issues, bit we had to sit at the house for an hour and a half to wait while it was being fixed - time that we much rather would have spent at the beach or exploring the town. The back garden leading to the beach access, as well as the top patio was not cleaned, with broken bottels and pieces of wood lying around.

Great location, literally 2 min walk from the beach. Awesome seaviews and a tranquil setting. Exceeded our expectations and will definitely return for another visit in the near future. Felt like a home-away-from-home

Great location - not on the beach but great beach view and very short walk to the beach. Comfy large bed, stunning bathroom (bath with a view!), comfy large couches, enclosed yard for dogs

Loft bedroom gets VERY hot - would recommend aircon for this price. Proper pan, kitchen knives and shelves in refrigerator. Lovely place, would highly recommend but I think a little overpriced.
