We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The property was spacious, comfortable, and made a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. There were plenty of local walks nearby, and it was an easy drive to Aviemore, the surrounding lochs, forests, and mountains. After a day of exploring, it was lovely to come back and relax together as a family. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of pans, crockery, and cutlery, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, it felt like a real home away from home and was an excellent place to stay.

Only a couple of minor points. One of the wardrobes wasn’t secured to the wall and was unstable, so we were cautious as we have young children. It may be worth checking and securing it. We also would have appreciated a washing machine, especially when travelling with young children. That said, there’s an excellent local launderette nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay.

Great location, nice house and we were able to drop our belongings early so this was a bonus. It is very central to a lot of walks and cycle routes.

Adding a gate for rear garden area would be helpful for pets. Overall decoration could benefit from a repaint throughout. On leaving day we stripped the beds and was disappointed to see the condition of the duvet and mattress

he property felt very homely and welcoming, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was fantastic, perfect for kids and dogs to play in and the little tree swing out front is a lovely touch. Evenings were easy with plenty of TV options, the kitchen was a great size for cooking, and parking was hassle-free. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.
