Amazing experience in Cairngorms

Amazing experience. Zoe and Nic are incredible hosts and are really doing those extra bits to make the experience ideal for the guests. They even came by with strawberries one day and helped us with planning hiking tours in the mountains! Also the huts have some incredible views. We will definitely recommend anyone to go to these huts if you want an unforgettable experience in Cairngorms!

Nothing really, there wasn’t any shampoo so we had to buy it, but that was really a minor and beyond that the hut was very well equipped!

Perfect for our autumn break

The location of the huts is beautiful with stunning views to the Cairngorms and total privacy. Nethy Bridge is an ideal centre for the area and Zoe and Nic were so welcoming and helpful. The hut was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean, tasteful, comfortable and well-planned. Great shower too!

The hut was beautiful, very tasteful decorated and it was exceptionally clean. The views from the hut are beautiful especially when the sun is setting. The owners are lovely friendly people and go that extra mile to make their guests feel welcome.

Beautiful location with panoramic scenery, back to nature experience, the outside cubicle shower was the star of the show along with the host, Nick, a very engaging, helpful guy and the log burner.

A wee bit cramped inside but it was fine for a two night stay

Best shower in the Cairngorms-definitely. In the Universe-quite possibly.

Best shower I have had-ever. Zoe, other lady and partner very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great views, cute stove, exceptionally comfortable bed with quality, fresh linen. For info-easy close parking, tea, coffee, sugar (not milk) and cooking oil provided. No electricity, cool box outside. Shower external, with privacy screen, toilet external, no running water/sink, hand gel on wall.

The chemical toilet and it being external to the studio, with no sink/running water but everything else a great experience.

An awesome stay

This is a 5-star hut for couples. Exceptionally clean property, comfy bed, had all necessary amenities. Location is 15-minutes drive from the city center of Aviemore, located in the woods. Sunrise and sunsets were unbeatable. If you are running away from chaotic cities, this is the place.

The off grid Horsebox is fun. Cosy and well designed. But the best of it all is the quiet location and the stunning panoramic view. Zoe is helpful and a nice person.

A perfect weekend getaway!

We loved how cosy and sweet the cabin was. The cabin uses its space efficiently and we enjoyed the log burner! Fabulous comfy bed and hot shower too. Brilliant views with a lovely outside space where we enjoyed some wine and s’mores!!

We liked the stay at this horse converted trailer. It was done up to high standards with attention to detail and well-thought throughout. Our hut did not have electricity.However Zoe supplied us with a portable energy bank to charge up our phones. Cold water in the kitchenette was supplied by a battery-powered pump and we had a portable gas hob in there too. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything you needed to stay there. There was a lovely log burner which was on each morning and night with plenty of wood supplied. The toilet was inside but there was no running water. We had a compost toilet which was some experience! Finally there was a hot shower outside with no doors! We love it! Glamping is great!

Helemaal super!

De omgeving, de setting waarmee de accommodatie was ingericht en de betrokkenheid van de eigenaren. Nick en Zoë waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij aankomst. Je merkt dat ze erg veel moeite hebben gestopt in het opzetten van hun huisjes, het winkeltje en de omgeving.

Niks viel tegen, je moet je even voorbereiden op het feit dat het een wat kleiner huisje is, maar daar is niks mis mee. Je gaat hierheen voor de omgeving en natuur, het feit dat je in je verblijf kan genieten van de omgeving is geweldig.

Abschalten, ausruhen, Wandern

Um einfach naturnah auszuspannen ist dies wohl eine sehr gute Wahl. Ist aber nichts für verwöhnte Mimosen. Uns ging es dort gut und wir kommen gut mal in paar Tage ohne Fernseher aus. Am Abend am Ofen sitzen und entspannen, perfekt.
