Cairngorm Cottage

Great base for exploring Aviemore, the living room is very spacious, kitchen has all you need and the garden is perfect for pets too! Very quick response to any questions we had.

Nice quiet location but close to town centre. A well equipped, tidy cottage with outdoor space for good weather times.

No hot water on arrival so cold showers were 'refreshing' !

It was perfect in every way, clean, great location, private garden, all facilities you need in the property, complimentary wine and shortbread, great communication with owners, first class in every way !

Nice location and close to shops

When we arrived nothing had been cleaned and beds weren’t made and all the house was very untidy, bags of bedding on dining room table waiting for the house keeper to clean and make beds. Had to call the number I had on paperwork that I had the forethought to bring with me. Our American friend were with us for a holiday and they were really looking forward to their visit to Scotland so it was quite embarrassing to say the least. Accommodation is listed as two bathrooms but there was only one full bathroom as one was a sink & toilet which is not what was expected for 4 adults. We needed shopping so went out while the ladies cleaned the property, they did a good job fortunately, they also left an extra bottle of wine to compensate😳. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom could do with a bigger shower screen as very often water was running down the bath panel onto the floor and rubber seal could do with replacing as very black and grubby. Cooker is very antiquated and could do with updating, not seen one that old in many years.
