The scenery was surreal. The mountain and river views on a snowy winter day is absolutely fantastic! Also, the chalet was equiped with anything needed for a short or long stay.

Comfortable. Well equipped. Suitable for family. Nicely located

we have stayed here before a few years ago. the reason we booked again was because of the new easy walk in shower and clean toiler area. A welcome improvement. the situation is amazing giving excellent views to Cairngorms and having wild life on your doorstep is a plus. bed was very comfy and generally cleanliness good.

first the oven lol it only has one heat fire hot and the grill also so looks like thermostat has gone. more pans would be good. better cleaning. the interior doors were dirty. I wiped them myself. updated lounge seating would be very welcome too as at present what's there is very dated and seen better days. overall the updates going in the right direction compared to when we first stayed at No 27.

Spacious, great location with fantastic views. Could be a fantastic lodge with a little bit of modernisation, howeverwe did know this from the pictures. .

Cleanliness had to clear a lot of dead bugs and webs off the cooker and surrounding counters and furniture.
