The livingroom and kitchen were nice and the open fire a lovely addition but it was tired and could have been cleaner.
The property was very tired. It needs new soft furnishings and a general upgrade and some basic investment. It did not feel clean but part of that was also because everything was so tired and some items broken.

Nice, spacious cottage in the quiet neighbourhood with a short walking distance to Aviemore. Enclosed garden ideal if you have a dog. Bathroom could do with a refit but apart from that we had everything we needed, cozy and warm property.

Lovely location in a quiet area of Aviemore. The co-op and takeaways are within a short walking distance. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. It has a nice spacious garden and on the last morning we saw a deer just beyond the garden fence in amongst the trees which was a lovely sight. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Although the property was neat and 'surface clean' it could do with a deeper clean. The blinds in the kitchen and the top of the extractor fan is greasy with built up dirt. The bath mat in the bathroom was soaking wet when we arrived and we ended up with wet socks. The door between the porch would also benefit from a latch as it wouldn't stay shut. This didn't spoil our stay though as we still had a lovely time.

The property was spacious and all the rooms were generous the heating was good and the rooms were cosy. It was a little bit out of the centre but easy to access. The living room and kitchen was good with everything we needed. We didn’t use the other rooms but they looked good for people with a family and were well appointed. We had to call the manager about the faults and they dealt with what they could promptly.
The property wasn’t as clean as we would have expected there was dust on various areas especially in the bedroom. The toilet had mould around the bath and the bin in the bathroom was rusty. The fridge wasn’t clean inside and had shelves missing it could probably do with being replaced. The bathroom cabinet door was hanging off at the hinge. In the bedroom one of the large mirror wardrobe doors came off the runners when we tried to open it. Various throws on the bed and ling room area were very tatty and we put them in another room but they should be replaced. Unfortunately there was roadworks outside the house for three days which perhaps should have been notified. We spoke to the contractors and they were able to accommodate us and we had to park away away from the house on two occasions for a few hours.

Location was fab. We loved the open plan living area and the enclosed garden was safe for our dog.

Lovely quiet location not too far from town centre. All essentials provided. Heating and hot water very adequate.
General carpentry in that some internal doors were sticky, one would not close and the external door needs attention as sticks on opening.
Wardrobe doors in main bedroom just need fixing back on to runners - we did not use this because of this reason.
Only other issue was there was no extractor fan in the bathroom.

Well equipped and had everything we needed. The children’s books and teddy were a nice touch. It was also very comfortable and in a good location. We liked the fact you could walk straight into the woods from along the road.
It could do with a good deep clean and some maintenance. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs, and the fabric dining chairs were very stained. A lot of the doors wouldn’t close and the loo is very difficult to flush because the button is cracked. It would’ve also been nice to have some outdoor furniture. It was lovely weather but no ability to sit outside.

Lounge, kitchen and laundry was good. Great location within walking distance to village shops bars and restaurants.
The whole place needs a good clean. Wardrobe doors are falling off, carpet in bedroom area was old and dirty, shower head was broken and leaking, holder for shower was broken, mattress in main bedroom was beyond its best date, bed was broken, toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and kept on sliding off. We contacted owner with our concerns but didn't hear back.

The location was was perfect for our stay. Very beautiful home with lots of added touches. The garden was fenced off which was perfect for letting our dogs out late at night. Warm and cosy with friendly neighbours. Utility area was great for drying paws off and for us to change in before entering the main house. We can’t wait to book again in the future, we were sad to leave.
Genuinely couldn’t fault anything..the only thing that let our holiday down was no snow.
