The room was spot on, a lovely escape from it all.

They send you a code so you can enter the main entrance and your room. The room was lovely, clean and cosy. It also had a fridge which came in handy, the area is beautiful and the people lovely. Breakfast was nice in the adjoining restaurant.

I thought we had booked the apartment yet it turned out it was one of the rooms which had been rather unclear on the website.

We did not have a great view from our rooms . We knew they were small doubles but not no views. However we did not book rooms to gaze out of windows so the rooms met our needs for our overnight stay.

The room was dull and poorly lit, with no proper storage for clothes or toiletries. The bathroom and shower were extremely small with nowhere to dry off. For nearly £300 for two nights it was overpriced and not worth it, with no reception or easy way to request clean towels. Overall very disappointing.

Ok for short stays

Good location, dinner in the adjoining restaurant was excellent. Easy check in with a door code. Mostly clean and comfortable.

Strange housekeeping and staff situation. We stayed 5 days and didn’t have a room clean. Our bins were not emptied the whole stay, our bed was made only on the very last day of the stay, and new towels only on the last day too. We ran out of toilet paper because of this, and when we raised the issue we waited 12 hours for a response (because there’s no staff onsite just and email address & emergency number). The response we got said they’d pass on our enquiry to the housekeeping team but then another 12 hours went by and no clean and no toilet paper. We were told to msg the emergency number so we did. There was no reply to the message but then a woman turned up (at 9pm ish) and basically told me that the emergency number wasn’t for toilet roll and that they were ‘room only’, implying no toilet roll should be provided. Room only to me means no breakfast included… I think that would be the common understanding. It’s marketed as a hotel/guest house but there are no staff onsite and it’s really bizzarre that they think toilet paper isn’t something that should be provided in a room like that. Would have been fine if that had been made clear at the outset, but then the lady that came was quite rude about it.

I highly recommend to my friends and family. The place is very convenient, it's just along the road and near to restaurants and shops. Sorry forgot to take some photos.

Lack of attention to detail and severe lack of parking.

Good location, modern decor.

Room was dirty, literal hairballs on the bathroom floor, shower was broken had to tie shower head up with a belt as the height adjustment for it was broken. Was also barely half a roll of loo roll left for us and no spare to be found. Parking is also a nightmare as car park is not big enough for both hotel guests and restaurant guests. Cars were parking behind cars blocking eachother in. Far nicer past experiences In other Aviemore establishments. Will not be coming back.

Great location in the heart of the town. Within walking distance of the towns amenities. Good process for check in. Pin code supplied via email on the day of arrival. Restraunt on the ground floor had an extensive food and drinks menu. Food standard was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay but lots Sweeney Two could work on

Great location in the heart of Aviemore. Walkable distance to lots of walks, pubs, bars, takeaways and restaurants. Delaneys breakfast was lovely and staff so friendly and remembered our order. Keyless room entry is handy. We did enjoy our stay here in the end but there is lots this place could work on, especially for the price.

No on site reception. Issue with room on arrival but manager resolved this and issued complementary breakfast which was kind of her. Tv in room 12 comes on randomly at 1.30am every night. Standard room and en-suite is tiny, tv is very small and cramped, you need binoculars! Room did not look the same as in the picture. Only 1 bedside lamp which is odd. Walls are paper thin - we could hearing snoring and talking late at night. Basic rooms would benefit from a fridge or an ice machine in the corridor.

Location was great, a walk into Aviemore, yes you are on the road but didn’t bother us and were light sleepers. Bedroom was nicely furnished and decorated.

It’s strange the bathrooms are very basic and dated/tired compared to the seemingly newish bedroom renovations. The noise from other rooms was loud and disturbing.

Hidden gem

It was a last minute booking. I've stayed in a room with no windows but the skylight was enough and thanks to no windows the room was amazingly quiet. All was very clean and welcoming and I would definitely stay in this room again. Breakfast was amazing. I've order the continental plate with cold meat and cheese and it was delicious, plate was full and I did not managed to eat all.

I've struggled with getting a hot water in a shower at first but managed to work it out at the end with no help.

Fantastic stay

We booked a family room/apartment, and were impressed at the size of our accommodation. 2 separate twin rooms and 2 shower rooms. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. One of the reasons we booked to stay here is because Delaney's restaurant on site. The food and service here is fantastic. We will be back!
