All the charm of a truly independent place with the finish of a large establishment

It was warm, comfortable, unique and stylish. Great bed, great shower - really a fantastic stay! The little kitchen was a great touch, storage was ample, curtains blacked everything out, parking was easy, towels & linens were perfect. I couldn't fault it.

Very little. I suspect some of the domestic fittings will not survive much wear and tear, and commercial options would have been better lasting. Right now though, everything is excellent

Great stay 😀

From start to finish myself and family had the most amazing stay , customer service was 10/10. Especially Helen , all questions answered and she was extremely helpful and went over and above to make my stay extra special especially for my son as it was his birthday , place was immaculate , very high standard couldn’t rate this place any more , I will definitely return.

The Premier Inn down the road has bigger rooms!

Good location, good parking facilities. The room was a good temperature. The water pressure was good. The WiFi was good.

The room was quite small. Small old stains on the bedding. These stains were not new and not necessarily a cleanliness issue as the linen was clean, just stained. The pictures on the booking site did not accurately reflect what was being booked. In retrospect you had to compare what was being booked, in my case the small double room, to the picture that corresponded to the actual room being booked. I would go as far to say the pictures were deceiving. The position of the TV is ridiculous. The walls are super thin, I could hear the conversations of others in other rooms while they were speaking normally.

Mixt feelings!!

Location was great!! Nice room and clean.

The room was extremely cold, outside temperature was-5, the heater in the bathroom wasn’t working and the one in the bedroom was hardly warm. Contacted the mobile phone number and was told that there had been work outside and the timer went off, that someone had been to the property and that has been solved. When we got back to the room, all heaters were off, that was around 22:30, in the morning around 7:30 heaters were still off. Very cold night. So if you don’t mind being cold, it’s fine, otherwise go somewhere else, or take your mattress out to the hall were it was nice and warm.

It was modern but small

Small, paid £160 and was expecting space to move about though only had 4 sq meters of walkable space, a big person would of struggled to use the facilities.

A short stop over on our way further up North was fine, but I wouldn't stay again.

The location, presentation and facilities were fantastic

We arrived after a 7 hour drive at 2.55pm, and check in was 3pm, we couldn't check in for another half an hour, as our room was not ready. We went for a drink so not all bad, but a little frustrating. We were on a ground floor room which had its frustrations. Firstly, the walls are paper thing, so everytime a guest coughed, walked or dropped something that could be heard, the microwave was enormous with a very bright blue clock on the front, and the TV was on a wall that was almost unwatchable.

Sweeney One - the last resort

Don’t be fooled by the photographs of the property. We were allocated Room 3, which is not shown, and is tiny. It has a 3/4 double bed and one bedside cabinet. There is very little room to squeeze around the bed, to access the cabinet and the sink/drainer and microwave oven, which looks like it has never been used. Room 3 is at the rear of the building. The patio/terrace with outdoor seating looks onto the access road and the boundary wall. We paid £322 for 2 nights, because Thunder in the Glens was in town. This is an absolute rip-off. I’ve seen bigger rabbit hutches.

Lovely room, perfect for couples

Stunning rooms, but not as large as I got the impression when booking. We stayed in the luxury suite and would have been amazing for a couple staying there but was more than a little snug with a child and dog too. That said the room has a very modern luxury feel to it, excellent bathroom and shower and really helpful staff on hand if needed.

Size, room was also very warm but this was dealt with instantly by Helen who delivered us a fan even though it was late at night. Helen was also kind enough to go above and beyond to help us during our stay

Great location within close proximity to the town centre for exploring all Aviemore has to offer.

A strong smell of bleach in the room on arrival was unpleasant given we were staying in a dog friendly room. We had to crack the window and go for a walk immediately after check-in.

Overall a nice, fuss free place to spend a week.

We liked the little kitchen - very useful and well equipped for what it is. The shower was a good size, had hot water and good water pressure. We liked the fact there was enough parking for everyone on site. The beds were comfy and the whole room was clean.

We had a luxury room but we felt it looked more spacious on the photos than it was in real life, which was a bit disappoint especially given the price paid. It was more of a concern as we had judged the room to fit a wheelchair, it did work out but it was a little tight. Not a big issue for us but the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly - it got stuck on the floor, don't know if its the flooring or something has warped.

No table in the outside area, only 2 chairs. The room was very small, even for a solo traveller with a small dog. The lack of sound proofing was quite disruptive, you can hear every flush, cough, kettle boiling etc.

A lot of positives and get place to stay in Aviemore

Perfect room for a one night stay when visiting family in Aviemore. It was very warm weather when we were there (30 degrees!) so the patio doors being open was a must. The bed was very comfortable. Room felt very modern and you can tell the standard was high.

Nothing really. Perhaps having a fan in the room when the temperatures are higher would be good. While we were impressed that the toiletries were Molton Brown, only having shower gel in the shower wasn’t ideal. We had to go and get shampoo from Tesco. The glass bottle also gets slippery so perhaps not ideal for in a shower.

Advertised as pet friendly throughout booking process and it was , but a day after booking , got a message asking for £25 for our dog to stay. We were on a road trip around Scotland, staying in 5 different places, and this was £15 more than anywhere else to get the dog in. Felt it was excessive pricing , and not advertised at point of booking
