Very clean and comfortable
There was no freezer or even an ice compartment in the fridge, which was a shame given the hot weather, but we coped.
The garden was left to grow into a wilderness which was unsightly and not good for our dog. I’m all for biodiversity, but leaving the garden to get full of weeds and long grass is not really acceptable in my opinion, and it looked awful. We couldn’t let the dog out on his own in case he did his business and we wouldn’t be able to see it to pick it up because of the long grass. Also, long grass is a breeding ground for ticks, not good at all.

It had everything we needed. The owner was responsive to needs
I would have liked a bit more kitchen cupboard space. Many cupboards were full of bits and bobs.

It was well equipped and had absolutely everything you could think of. The location was great and the way the house is situated also gives plenty of privacy. The host was extremely helpful and we loved every minute of our stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in Aviemore.

Lovely location, comfortable property with everything you could need for a family trip
We did struggle a bit to control the heating, probably user error to be fair but it was a bit warm
