Idyllic and relaxing - even with 5 kids in tow!

The whole house was spotless, it was spacious and mindfully designed. The beds are so comfortable, there is everything you'd need. Lots of fabulous outdoor space and the boot room was a huge plus for us as we were travelling with 5 kids in the snow.

The only thing we'd say is the main living space is a little chilly, even with the fire on. It's a huge space so it's understandable, but bring some extra jumpers and cosy socks for evening relaxing! As well as that, we had an unfortunate circumstance that someone (perhaps the previous guests?) had left a fish carcass and food scraps on the patio area.

Great venue for a friends get together. Loads of social space and the hot tub was fab.

All info provided up front was easy to understand and was helpful.

Check out instructions could have been clearer re: bins and recycling but apart from that, it was a great stay. The property is really well equipped and was perfect for a group of friends catching up.

Spacious, comfortable lodge suitable for large group in gorgeous surroundings!

Location was the best part of this property, and the landscaped area surrounding the house was lovely. Spacious, clean accommodation with superbly equipped modern kitchen. Beautiful, modern shower and bathrooms.

The experience would have been enhanced by a few more amenities, like hooks in bathroom and bedrooms for hanging clothes, a few less older and less worn sofa seats, a fan to combat the heatwave, etc. We would have especially benefitted from having a cot or two... we had 3 babies, and no cots were provide despite our request to the agents. The owners were onsite for part of our stay, and it would have been useful to know that this would be the case. This was not a problem, but did of course affect our privacy.

Lovely and quaint. Just what we were after!

Loved the location and the overall look of the lodge!

Couldn’t work the projector and got told it was in the welcome pack. Which is fine but I couldn’t access the welcome pack. It just kept coming up with imagine not available. Not too much of an issue as we weren’t there to watch anything but just something for the future possibly.

We had a very relaxing holiday but would not return to that property.

it was very clean. liked the secluded location.

The furniture in the living area was old and a bit uncomfortable. There was no cloth to wipe the worktop, no oven glove and only one bin bag although you were expected to put rubbish out on the Tuesday. Having paid about £2500 I think at least one more bin bag would have been supplied. Just niggly things but it does tend to set a negative feeling about the property.

Really enjoyed our 7 nights here and would 100% return again- none of us wanted to leave!

Beautiful spacious and comfortable lodge in stunning setting,very convenient for lots of walks and activities . Short drive to shops in Aviemore. Secluded and private. Great kitchen big cooker and Fridge -used to cook every day for 8 people , lovely terrace for sitting out and relaxing . Washer and drier , x3 great shower/bathrooms.Very good WIFI and great choice for TV channels on the projector.

beds were very creaky in master bedroom and very short beds in 2nd bedroom .Mattresses were comfortable though so not a significant issue. Some decor and furniture a bit dated but all very clean and comfortable.

A brilliant family holiday would recommend it definately just fab

location of lodge is excellent well equipted with everything a family would require even a high chair . Lots of living space inside the lodge and an excellent beautiful outside space too Magical for our family who loved every minute of our long weekend break.

The inside of lodge nice and clean . But the first two bedrooms the double and single room with two single beds had big buzzing flies. Even closing the windows and doors of those rooms, they still appeared I had a problem sleeping because of them and the two children in their room kept coming into our bedroom and saying there,s another fly I don,t know how they got in and where they got into the rooms. As the lodge sleeps 10 the other 3 bedrooms didn,t appear to have flies
