It was ok.

The outlook was great, splendid view across the Moray Firth. It was comfortable enough and well equipped. The bed in the double room was a standard double ( small), a bit disappointing. Handy for visits to the coast by car. Good hot tub. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Nice fluffy towels. Quite a lot of local wild-life.

Awkward access, the directions were not adequate, the access following the instructions left us unable to find the property. The signage was poor. We had to ring the contact number to find out how to get to the lodge. There were actually two lodges which are very isolated and remote. Using our own resources allowed us to get out and back from the lodge. No walks local to the lodge, always needed to use the car. Very rough access roads. No internet. Would mot be suitable for anyone with a disability.

Amazing location. Total chill out with brilliant family time! View was stunning and we really enjoyed the hottub!

Perfect Lodge with gorgeous views!

The view and location were gorgeous. The lodge was perfect and in an excellent location. Loved being able to have my morning coffee outside whole enjoying the exceptional view. The hot tub was perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunset each evening.

Perfect, cosy, restful break ❤️

we had such an amazing stay here. the lodge is perfect, cosy and super comfortable. an ideal base for exploring all that the local area has to offer. there is so much to see and do around Forres and the local wee towns. would highly recommend checking out the beaches in Lossie as well as a trip to Fidhorn and the findhorn foundation. the hot tub was ideal with a beautiful view, we watched fireworks all over the horizon on NYE- total bliss! we loved it so much we extended our stay and the host couldn’t have been more accommodating. A perfect family holiday we will definitely be back!

Fantasic!

The property is situated perfectly and has breathtaking views! The cabin was extremely clean and very homely. The hot tub was amazing and very easy to use. The privacy of the cabin is exceptional. We’re already looking at booking up again next year.

We will be back!

The lodge has been situated perfectly giving you a great view all day and night. The hot tub was a huge hit for us. We spent every evening in there, enjoying the sounds of the wildlife and the clear evening skies. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It's 5 stars from us and we can't wait to return.

Lovely and clean, great shower and very comfortable beds. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was great too!

Others have mentioned this but the road to the lodge- it wasn’t too bad for us as we hired a larger size car and we had good weather, but it is full of pot holes and is very uneven as it’s just a farm track, but the lodge position is lovely. The hot tub did get alot if leaves and bits in and there was no net to clean it so we bought one and left it at the property for the next guests.

Lovely clean, moden cabin in an great location for exploring the Moray and upper Speyside region. Loved the hot tub and isolation. Beds very comfortable and it was equipped with everything that you need for a weeks family break.

Absolutely stunning

Location was beautiful but would have been nice to have some gates on patio area both sides especially if people have young children that they don't try get to hot tub if other family members are not with them, also a bit more lighting around hot tub we will be booking again for this lodge soon x

If your looking for peace and karma this place is a little peace of heaven.

The lodge is set in a woodland with the most exceptional views, it is well equipped and very comfortable. The only negative was the road to the property, but it is on a working farm so we can’t really moan.

Absolutely nothing, it is definitely somewhere we will return to.

Fantastic lodge in an idyllic location

Fabulous views and a very bright, modern and well equipped cabin - the online photos don't do it justice. The hot tub was a touch of luxury. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location, only 10 minutes drive from Forres and approx 15 minutes from Findhorn.

Couple of little niggles such as dog hair on the main living area rug and the patio doors jambing and difficult to open. We did try phoning the two contact numbers in the welcome pack but neither answered the phone or returned our call. Luckily it was nothing urgent. A kitchen sieve would be a useful addition to the utensils. Also a net for the hot tub would be beneficial for fishing out bits of grass & flies - we used our kids bandy net! These are just small things, none of which detracted from our overall stay and experience.

We stayed so close to a field of pigs, and they were amazing, but my absolute favourite thing was the hot tub obviously 👍

Lovely private break

The setting and location is exceptional we went for a mini honeymoon and it was perfect. Very comfortable and had everything you need the kitchen was well equipped plenty of clean towels. The views were out of this world. The hot tub was lovely. The cabin was spacious. The only thing that could make it even better is a slightly larger TV and possibly a dvd player or board games. There's a lovely small town 10 mins drive from the cabin the mossets tavern was spectacular for food.

The road to the lodge was through a farm and the road was full of potholes which is understandable with the amount of farm machinery that will use the roads, however for guests it could be an issue. One of our group struggled with their car being quite low so for others it might also be an issue.

location, cleanliness, views and hot tub are what make this property.

out of date emergency contact numbers in handbook. although we didn’t have an emergency and only a minor fault would be nice to know you have the right contact numbers if something was urgent. We were only given 2-3 max toilet rolls (originals were not new) and when asked for replacements (it was very snowy) nothing was available. I did offer to walk to collect this from a convenient location.
