There was no real braai facilities. Only a gas braai. Not good enough. Very nice place but we will not use it again because all South Africans like to braai properly with wood when on vacation. Gas braai not so good ....

There was no aircon even though that was listed on booking.com. Staff provided a fan but was not sufficient, especially with load shedding at night.

Loved it. Neat & tidy. Would highly recommend!

Very clean & tidy. Loved that it was right above a small café where we could go for breakfast. Pretty much central to other restaurants, the beach & the Waterfront. Host is always available & responds within time to any request. Perfect value for money!

Can’t think of anything. It was perfect. l would maybe recommend having tea & small sugar sachets at the accommodation for guests. Otherwise all good.

Beautiful place but not restful

The location and layout of the loft were perfect. The views from the balcony are spectacular.

it is desperately in need of some TLC… The outside sun umbrella was literally in shreds, the rugs inside were very old and grubby . cracks in the walls all over the place. We were left no candles or match’s to light the Gas and the torches batteries were dead , not good during load shedding.Trying to get help from the agent proved difficult and the early morning noise from the fisherman’s cars ensured we were awake nice and early. You share the building with the local volunteers and they of course like to play music, if you want it or not.

Das Loft .................. lovely, quiet, well equipped, good feel place

We loved the location. The view was amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped. It is very safe and has an alarm for when you leave to go out for the day/night. The place was so clean. Parking right outside which was great. Very quiet and you feel tucked away and private. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were lovely. We really enjoyed Das Loft and will be returning. Narissa (hope I spelt that correctly) was amazing - Paternoster Rentals - great service

The weather was a little windy over the weekend - so we could not spend as much time on the balcony which is where the beautiful view is -it might be a good idea to try block off the wind somehow so that the amazing view can be enjoyed whether it is winter or summer and when it is windy. The view was still amazing though.

Comfortable stay, good location

Excellent location, close to the beach, centre of town, restaurants and shops. Only a block or so from the beach. Good ocean views ( over rooftops) from the living area and veranda. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal. Nice staff at the rental agency. Reliable internet.

it would have been nice to have a bath mat & curtain ties, to stop curtains being damaged when the door was open.

Beautiful Modern Apartment

Cute, clean and modern looking apartment. The bedding and towels were very nice.

We did not know where to collect the keys. We booked through Booking.com and had no idea that Paternoster Rentals were involved and that the keys were to be collected at their reception. The dune next to the apartment seems to be a local meeting point and we were woken by people on the dunes playing loud music and drinking early in the morning. Small little things that could have make a difference: A hand soap would have been nice. The ice tray was empty and broken. A hairdryer was supplied, but could not fit into any of the plug points.

We enjoyed our stay. We would recommend and definitely be back.

Spectacular views, privacy, great WiFi and modern finishes.

It could have been much cleaner than it was. The floors and bedside tables were a bit dusty, kitchen counter had dry stains and some plates were dirty so had to wash everything before use. We showered with cold water on the last day. Not sure if it’s because we used some hot water for dishes but that wasn’t cool.

Superb

The room was absolutely superb on every level: cleanliness, taste, comfort, location. The only disappointment was the lack of communication. We sent a message to the hosts regarding arrival time and did not receive a response. We then were unable to find the loft (it is tucked away and not easy to spot!), and only when we called the number on the Booking.com site, were we informed by the rental agents that we were required to pick up the keys for the property from the agency. Despite the lack of communication, everything else was perfect. We will absolutely be back! (Our yorkies loved it too!)

Absolut der Hammer. Wir können allen nur empfehlen hier zu buchen. Top Wohnung, Küche, Bett, Bad, Balkon, an bester Lage lässt keine Wünsche offen. Cathy's Kitchen im Parterre bietet eine Frühstück-Auswahl vom Feinsten. Bravo, wir würden sofort wieder buchen, danke.
