Comfortable happy stay

Fun interiors, well equipped kitchen, great viewing deck, enjoyed the bath in the main bed room, friendly helpful efficient staff

Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

Overall, the house was comfortable with close proximity to local restaurants and the beach.

The house was comfortable and clean with sufficient equipment in the kitchen. The games/toys and books were also a nice touch to keep everyone occupied in between visits to the beach and restaurants.

There were a number of the sunken ceiling light bulbs in the open plan lounge/kitchen not working, particularly in the kitchen which made it quite dark to work in. The chandelier lights above the dining room table did not work at all. The bedside lamps in the twin bed room were not plugged in so we had to pull the beds away to look for the plug socket which we eventually found behind one of the head boards. One of the lamps next to bedroom with the shower en suite did not work. The opening and closing of the driveway gates was a bit of a struggle, particularly when the wind was blowing strongly.

Jolly roger so loud you cant sleep (and violent fights in the street) & theft

The guy who unlocked for us is being investigated by the police for theft, he had the only keys and stole my sons tablet and shaver. The police have furthured there investigation to confirm other properties in his car have also been burgled.

It was well equipped, and it was situated well, close to everything, the views from upstairs were breathtaking and the braai are was amazing we had lots of fun nights there

A lovely house! Will be back!

We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with equipment! For foodies it was great not to drag a bunch of stuff with for cooking. Also loved that there was heaters in all the rooms as well as electric blankets. The fire place inside is a win during the cold winter months.

The Nespresso machine does not work. The small double bedroom can do with some extra hooks for towels in the bathroom. The main bathroom, main bedroom and ensuite doors could not close. A bit shy on teaspoons.

A beautiful cottage in a town that needs nothing more to it.

A very well equipped cottage, Lise ( the owner)thought about everything , you can tell all the love she poured into her cottage from every angle. Paternoster is those little towns that you wish that they stay hidden to avoid over development. It’s worth a visit and hopefully it maintains its authenticity for a while.

It was a very comfortable, exceptionally well thought out house. Great location - one can walk everywhere. Great sea views from the upper deck. Plenty of bathrooms, spacious accomodation. Very well equipped kitchen.

The only down side is that you wouldn't have that stunning view in bad weather when you would be unable to sit on the deck, however, in bad weather it would be very cosy and comfortable downstairs.

Stunning house in the heart of paternoster. I will DEFINITELY be back!

An affordable house with good amenities. It is very beautifully decorated and walking distance to the restaurants.

The only thing they need is a gas portable stove for a cup of coffee in the morning (while there is load shedding). Soaps and shampoos in the one shower would have been lovely as I forgot mine at home.

The house is beautifully appointed and decorated. It has everything you need for a comfortable, luxurious stay.

The fact that the gate is not electronic made me nervous, as I was a woman travelling with a small child. So, to open the gate I had to leave my daughter in the car.

The house is really beautiful and well thought through.

Area is quite noisy at night. As one would expect living in a community. Nothing wrong with that, just don't expect peace & quiet. Also, one does not feel completely safe from crime.

The house is very well located and has a lovely feel to it. it’s the perfect size for a weekend escape.

The top terrace is what sold me, but it really needs some maintenance and the view was very limited due to overgrown olive trees.

A great stay in a beautiful, comfortable and well located beach house in Paternoster.

Wonderful location, lovely property and so comfortable. Rustic beach style, yet modern with all the options you could need! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Maybe just some basic additions in kitchen: coffee (instant/pods), tea and sugar. Otherwise perfect all round.

Paternoster is a very small village, and hence location is important, yet this property is situated on the main road between the new and old sections, yet not within walking distance of the main beach and attractions.

Lovely home walking distance from everything

Fantastic secure and private location. Loved the roof-top sun / view deck. Kitchen and appliances are of high quality and very well stocked. Felt safe at night being able to arm the outside beams, and the alarm when not at home throughout the day.

Love Patenoster and would recommend the Sugar Shack as a well appointed location

The unit itself was lovely and the interior finishes and appliances were wonderful. The beds were comfy and the technology aspect was also good

I think the deck on the top of the house was slightly less than I expected from the photos. The feeling was the house had a lovely sea view but in reality only the top level had a view and it was not sheltered so sitting up there any of the time was not comfortable or practical
