Fun interiors, well equipped kitchen, great viewing deck, enjoyed the bath in the main bed room, friendly helpful efficient staff
Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

The house was comfortable and clean with sufficient equipment in the kitchen. The games/toys and books were also a nice touch to keep everyone occupied in between visits to the beach and restaurants.
There were a number of the sunken ceiling light bulbs in the open plan lounge/kitchen not working, particularly in the kitchen which made it quite dark to work in. The chandelier lights above the dining room table did not work at all. The bedside lamps in the twin bed room were not plugged in so we had to pull the beds away to look for the plug socket which we eventually found behind one of the head boards. One of the lamps next to bedroom with the shower en suite did not work. The opening and closing of the driveway gates was a bit of a struggle, particularly when the wind was blowing strongly.

Quirky homely decor and top deck
It would have been nice to have a view of the sea from the living area as it was winter so a little cold to spend too much time on the deck.

Paternoster is a very small village, and hence location is important, yet this property is situated on the main road between the new and old sections, yet not within walking distance of the main beach and attractions.
Paternoster features traditional fisherman's houses, as well as smaller modern built houses. This property is situated on the main road between the new and old sections, not within walking distance of the main beach and attractions, and very dark with little or no views or light entering the house.Sugar Shack is an interesting house with rustic finishes, yet well equipped, although in need of some urgent maintenance, and hence the photos depicted is not a true representation of what you can expect. The pricing of this establishment are really exorbitant.
