Extremely relaxing, well equipped, other essentials we were able to pick up at the local store.

We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the property as well as the close proximity to everything in the town. The house has an aircon, however we are electricity conscious South Africans and 1 or two of the bedrooms could benefit from a free-standing fan. Not a dealbreaker though.

It was exactly what we needed. Loved the rustic look and feel of the house.

My only negative comment is the drying rack. The design of it caused breakages as it was super unstable.

Cool house with good facilities near the beach at Paternoster

Lovely house with well equipped kitchen, heat pump and lots of spare blankets. Loved the shower that was apparently a chimney in its past life.

Layout was a little odd with both bathrooms far from main bedrooms. It would have been nice to have some coffee/ tea available.

The different spaces available to chill and relax…inside fireplace, outside Braai, pool area, fully equipped kitchen, trees and rooftop views of the ocean.

Family, sea views and good food in a lovely home.

Authentic fishing village accommodation with beautiful wooden floors and old blue doors. 4 lovely large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with showers. (Just be aware 2 of the bedrooms inter-lead which is perfect for families but may not work for adult couples - although it has a lockable door between). The outside stoep and braai area is fabulous and watching the sunset from the deck is priceless. 2 minute walk to the beach where we suntanned, swam in the flat sea, played soccer and went for a long walk to see the Black Oyster Catchers on the rocks. Voorstrandt Restaurant is a 5 minute stroll down the road and excellent value for money. All shops are within walking distance. The OK is a very good supermarket. The Waterfront has beautiful arts and crafts although definitely priced for wealthy tourists. The owner and cleaning lady were both extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away.

Just the pool needed some TLC on arrival but was bright blue by Sunday and is a lovely alternative to the sea.

Exactly what three older men needed for a road trip stay over.

The house had everything we needed for a good SA braai, The beds were comfortable and it felt secure

Only issue was that the air conditioner tripped the switchboard

Er was iemand aanwezig toen we arriveerden. De keuken was goed uitgerust.

Een oud huis waarvan een aantal deuren en ramen niet goed sloten. Geen airco op de slaapkamers. Zwembad is erg vies en heel klein, niet gebruikt vanwege slechte kwaliteit van het water.
