The peace and quiet of the river, with thousands of birds flying overhead, made the experience truly unforgettable. Enjoying a sundowner on the jetty is something that cannot be captured in words — it’s simply magical.
We loved the location: close to everything in town, yet right on the riverbank, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquillity.
The house is well-equipped and has everything one needs for a comfortable self‑catering stay
We had some minor plumbing issues, which the owner attended to immediately — excellent responsiveness and service.
Two small recommendations that would make the stay even better are the addition of bedside tables, and sharper cutting and steak knives in the kitchen

BEAUTIFUL setting right on the Berg River! We got to watch the 1000's of cormorants come and go everyday (and being able to watch them from the spa bath with wine, candles and an incredible sunset) was an absolute tick off the bucket list! The house had everything we needed and was well situated for us to access everything we needed to!

The location was splendid
We had to buy toilet paper because sufficient was not provided. The fireplace smoked into the house. The number of bathrooms was misrepresented. Booking.com said 4 while Lekkeslaap said 3 which was the correct number. No bedside lamps in any bedroom.
