Tenting in Yzerfontein

If camping is your thing, then you will like the luxury tent setup. It has a double bed and a small kitchen with a fridge and small one plate cooker. There is a large braai area in front of your tent and the ablution facilities are clean and comfortable.

The traffic from the main road drove me crazy as it was carrying on till late in the evening, then start again early in the morning. The tents being against the hill seemed to have the sound amplified. Personally I think the accommodation is overpriced. There is not much to do on the camp site either.

Peace Haven is just that, a glamping experience that makes camping more appealing. The location is p

PH has good WiFi. The place is very neat, it’s a self check-in ie independence and privacy. The cottage is amazing with great view toward Yzerfontein and Table Mountain. It has a nice little ‘club house’ with pool boards, TV and indoor braai.

Ventilation in canvas tents are not that great (no smaller windows) Such a lovely peaceful place, so a pity to experience some inconsiderate neighbours (I assume they belonged at the camp!?) being less than decent.

The property was excellent, clean and the hostess was so friendly and helpful. Every detail in the tented accommodation was look at everything you needed is there from braai, sleep and ablution is clean and peaceful. It is a safe environment and nature and view is fantastic. We will definitely be back and already sent Peace Haven number to all our friends and family

Absolute Bliss

Everything is so neat and tidy. Such a pleasure to have stayed here. Bed very comfortable. Ablutions emasculate🤗 . Definitely recommend this place.

It was beautiful - the view - the scenery - the luxury - the cleanliness - the attention to detail - the hospitality - Excellent!

They were busy with structures and water pipes which did cause some noise and without water a bit of discomfort - but other than that - excellent! Will recommend.

Peaceful, Safe and Clean! Perfect get away spot from the city.

The location was perfect! We felt safe driving in at 1am from our concert and taking a shower that late. The bathrooms were spotless too!!

There was a delay with our key, turns out the previous people left with the key to the tent and the lock had to broken off… so that delayed us for about 2 hours as we had other plans.

The way the tents were spaced out is great. Bathroom facilities were clean and facilities are so accommodating. Tents were also equipped with everything we needed and more.

Property was great. Would love a jungle gym or something of the sort for the younger ones. Nothing crazy but something fun.

Amazing, beautiful, relaxing stay

It is an absolute gem. Everything was just amazing. The beds are so comfortable and the bathrooms are absolutely beautiful and very clean. Jolinda is an exceptional hostess. My husband and I are definetely going back for a whole weekend. Peacehaven is food for the soul and so relaxing. People should really make an effort to go there - they will not be dissapointed.

I loved the location!! Super remote but only 40-50 minutes outside of Cape Town. Really natural - great for relaxation

The hot water was off on my 1st morning shower but the ladies working at the place sorted it out when I made them aware

When we got to our destination, it was absolutely peaceful! Everything was so neat and tidy. We enjoyed the open braai area and free pool tables. The bathrooms were exceptionally tidy :) Peace Haven will be seeing us again very soon!

Long weekend away to appreciate sunsets & sunrises

I loved the location - just a 40 minute drive outside Cape Town and yet it felt really remote

The hot water was off when I had my first shower - it felt like they had not prepared for guests which sucks They also accused me of breaking and then putting together a lamp in the tent? Luckily I had a video from when I checked in showing that it was like that to begin with. I really did not appreciate that especially since I am a black solo traveller - those kind of experiences bore me
