Cosy flat in a quiet part of Paternoster

Great location very close to Bekbai Lovely area out front to eat near the pool and another table at the back. Sofa and table inside. Lots of furniture for such a small flat. Very comfortable high bed.

Good shower but water far too hot and hard to control. Funny wood kitchen.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and ideal for us as a group that had rented some rooms and the cottage. It's ideal that every little place has their own terrace. We really enjoyed the communal area in the cottage with our friends. It's a 2min walk to the beach which is so convenient

Beautiful flat with thoughtful touches in the flat. Beautiful garden. Well located next to a small cute beach.

Unfortunately at the time we couldn't use the pool as it was being renovated and the security tape around the pool was loud with the wind. I'm sure it'll be amazing post renovation! I would definitely return.

Neat accommodation, Handy for exploring Paternoster

Nice open plan room with double bed and sofa bed and kitchen, not huge but comfortable for 3 of us. Newly renovated so was very clean and neat . Front opens onto swimming pool and private veranda at the back. Very near to the Art shopping mall with restaurants and theatre ( only open on certain days ) .

Fabulous stay, definitely worth a good few days, within metres of the beach. And what a beach it is.

Private, beautifully restored and tastefully furnished. Everything you could need for a good few days stay, definitely worth more than a stopover. Scrupulously clean. The site manager was brilliant, arranged dinner for us to be taken back to the cottage, and ensured every detail was perfect otherwise. Best nights sleep I had in ages!

The check in was a little loose, we didn’t realise the main accommodation and office was further down the road, however once resolved, everything was perfect moving forward.

Blocked chimney at fire place. So made it extremely unpleasant to braai The photos on the web are sooo misleading.. when you arrive you see that it’s not one big house. It’s a house divided into little cubicles, very nicely done . But I felt misled. We were packed in like soldiers. It’s was very commercial like.

Great if can get in.

Quiet and comfortable. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay provided. Loved the outdoor areas exclusively for our use.

Check in was ridiculous. As overseas guests, we could only communicate by written message as we have no phone reception. Couldn’t get in, couldn’t contact anyone, no one home next door where we were told to get a key if nobody was home. Ended up driving around to find someone with a phone to call for us. Wasted over an hour to be told we were too late for a dinner reservation. All shops closed so couldn’t even buy groceries. This information would have been useful, instead of every response being a message to “phone this number “ no matter how often I explained I had no phone connection.

Smoky

Cute cottage feel of the place. New. Staff always tried to help. Very polite. Small private courtyard with seating. Each unit could male a fire ,have barbecue in stone fireplace outside. 1 to 2.minutes ti beach. Can walk to the little town. Not good for people with mobility issues.

You have to pay at The unit. There is no reception so you have to arrange with a person over the phone, to come. This turned out to be tedious, not convenient system despite staff being friendly and accommodating. You are expected to prepay a R2000 breakage fee. This is very steep. In reviews I have read that people are still waiting to be refunded for this fee/issues. There were no toiletries, and nothing to wash dishes with in first room and 2 towels for 3 peiple. When we moved rooms for second night, there were 3 little soaps in bathroom and a sponge for dishes. We were a late booking so maybe that was the reason. The second night we were in the upstairs room. Design of building is such that smoke from chimneys of fireplaces of other rooms go into this room. Constant smell of smoke in room, which pervaded everything despite closing windows. Avoid this room. Workers on property that is being developed next door. So noise from early I the morning. Little round wooden steps through garden to room, no path so can't wheel bag to room. We made a late booking. I called to inform. No problem. We carried luggage up flight of steps. Then there was no key. We hung around at night for about 1.5 hours while the lady looked at all.options. eventually we had to lug luggage down flight of steps to another room.we were offered a bottle of no brand wine as compensation, which we did not take. I booked another night, and we had to move to the upstairs unit.
