Property is close to town centre

The property is located within the local community and main view is looking into neighbours backyards, directly next house looks like a working place with pallets etc scattered all over (not the view as per advertised). Then security is a problem, burglar bars in the main bedroom had been broken off and main slides doors in lounge alarm sensor wires pulled out (apparently there was a break in). In summary in our opinion not worth the cost or as per pics portray.

There was an armed robbery n couple of weeks before our arrival. We were requested to keep windows closed but the robbery was not disclosed. Not enough air ventilation. Felt unsafe. Cant sit upstairs without locking house completely. The kitchen needs attention. Its old and needs maintenance. Location is convenient

Location great

The linen was dirty, absolutly shocking, ended up going to buy our own bedding in vredenburg, The couches inbetween cushions dirty, Mop broken, Shower floor dirty, Touches for loadshedding but no batteries, They say pet bfriendly but the yard is open all round and no gates to keep pets in, with big dogs in the area. Alarm was not active and working.

very pleasant -minor things that can be fixed need attention

very central-

1st impression was that the location isn t great-in the end it did not matter though paternoster was a great experience-the house is being let down by minor things-like untidy garden , braai facilities very poor and extremely dirty, the little weber braai downstairs is too small.Oven pans were dirty and house smelt like fish when we arrived.Also ran out of pre paid electricity on 2nd day. tv also small

the free wifi is a definate plus!! the dstv is problematic... but it meant we were able to spend more time playing games and talking as a family. the loadshedding schedule didnt allow us to have much of a night life (22h00 till 00h30) for the duration of our stay... this did help us to have early nights and get some well deserved rest (sleeping on perfect white cotton duvet covers) during our weekend stay. the outside braai wasnt used (to windy) but was happy to have a small supplied portable braai to enjoy our braai time.. 2 fridges was wonderful!! ice cold beers and cooldrinks is always a Winner!!

Although location not ideal we had no isues and enjoyed the place.

1. The area could have been better and this was not shown in the photos. 2. The alarm went off at 12Am and we were unable to stop it with the remote. Security arrived they could not disarm had to unplug battery back up and switch alarm off at the wall. (I have learnt to npw google map and not rely on the pictures alone0.

The property was spacious and you allowed to bring your pet.

The place was extremely dirty with cobwebs, marks on floors and carpets.Te fridge provided smelt like fish. We thought that it was loadshedding but realized that the property did not have electricity until we asked them to buy. The following day we run out of electricity again.

Everything we need was in the house and it's beautifully designed and comfortable to live in

It being a pet friendly accommodation that there is no gate. There are many free roaming dogs and we where never relaxed with our dog moving in the yard.

Paella is your chosen affordable weekend breakaway

The gas fire place and gas stove was very nice during load shedding. Blikkie Pizzeria is just down the street within walking distance. Bed was very comfy.

The upstairs braai is very nice but can't be used during windy days. Had an issue to switch the alarm off via the remote provided. There are dogs in the street that barks whenever somebody passes by.

Not what it seems

The place had a terrible smell that went through out all the rooms. The pictures was most likely taken when the place was just renovated. Cigarette stumps laying by the outside seating area. Throw on the bed was dirty. Duvet on the bed was bad, lumpy and see through. Location was bad. Us 2 women did not feel safe.

Poor experience for what you had to pay for. Will not make use of this rental again

The gas for the stove was not on and was only fixed at 16:00 Saturday afternoon after arriving Friday so we couldn’t make food which is the point of self catering. The fireplace didn’t work. Satellite signal was poor and the remotes batteries were flat. No list to check against damages Sticky floor in the garage
