Served its purpose and we felt safe.

Liked the walking distance to the beach and restaurant was convenient. The outdoor table and chairs and braai. The portable light left for loadshedding was awesome.

We had no clean towels or linen in the 7 days we occupied the cottage. No cleaning services (perhaps every 3/4 days?) The parking arrangement. According to the notice in the garage the tenants at #1 could park outside our cottage in the back yard which would then limit our access to the washline and also it is right outside our back door and lounge area causing a privacy issue. Every time the tenant wanted to go out we would be obliged to move our car. The back door lock was missing the slide bolt and a key. Not all the kitchen lights worked. The extension plug in the bedroom was faulty.

Lovely break in stunning Paternoster, so good to be there and catch up with friends

Comfy bed, outside area neat and tidy and accommodation equipped with all essentials

No instruction on where to go to get keys. They also didn’t answer phone or messages. Keys in just one big bundle with a couple of labels that didn’t correspond to keys.

The alarm system is very complicated, we triggered the alarm 4 times. There are no clear instructions on exactly how the alarm works, nor are there visible blue lights as indicated. Maybe the reception can go with the tenant and take them through the process

Would like to return in summer

This is a very cold place in winter .You can only buy wood that is not dried out and is wet which keeps the admosphere cold and chilly.Summer would be great .

Disappointing.

Location very good.

No breakfast even though the search was for B&B. No firewood or anything else supplied, even to buy. No properly situated electric outlets for charging cell phones or computers. Bad lighting. Should really be sold as a one bedroom as the upstairs room is very under par for the price. The alarm system is ridiculous, having to be co-ordinated with an unknown neighbour. Really disappointing for the price.

What a find......a jewel of a place .

A lovely private view of the sea without the hustle and bussel of the passerby’s. Pet friendly to the tee . Very well equipped . One of the safest stays in Paternoster. Well done.

The only recomendation I can make is for a big pot to prepare crayfish in. Apart from that it was a lavely stay.
