Magnificent beachfront

Our stay at Graaitjie was truly exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. The direct access to the beach was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip, offering unparalleled convenience and breathtaking views. The accommodation boasts four ideal bedrooms, providing ample space for our group of five adults. Furthermore, the availability of sufficient bathroom facilities ensured comfort and privacy for everyone. We highly recommend Graaitjie for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The waterproofing to the skylights needs a bit of TLC.

Relaxing and invigorating! My favourite place for a group vacation!

The location right on the beach was fantastic! We enjyed our meals and snacks on the deck looking right at the beach and enjoyed the wonderful sunsets. The flow to the pool also allowed for lots of conversation with some in the pool and some on the deck so no one was left out. Bedroom and bathrooms were also fully equipped.

Everything was perfect. The dishwasher was not working (due to be replaced just after we left) but that is not a big deal and we cleaned as we went along.

Location was amazing, however a few plastic containers to store leftover food would have been nice. Also the showers, while the pool nice, it was really difficult not to "flood" the bathroom when showering, no matter how hard we tried. The housekeeper Maryan was amazing and friendly.

Mini Family getaway

Amazing location and house :) This was our second time at Graaitjie and it did not dissapoint. The house has everything you need and is situated in the most perfect location. We had a fatastic time and have even booked our next stay. I previusly commented on the bed in the main room when we first visited as it was uncomfortable, but it has since been changed and is now very comfortable :)

Mini Getaway to celebrate my 40th Birthday in the beautiful Paternoster

We had an incredible time at Graaitjie. The house is amazing and has everything you need. The location is fantastic and really something special. I could have stayed longer.

The bed in the main room is very small and really uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced.

It is a beautiful house. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed it.

All the bedding were smelly. I think they made the beds while the linen was still damp or wet. Thus all the beds had that wet linen smell. The other thing, one night we were sitting on the patio (having a braai) and one of the local shell-sellers approached the house from the beach. We made it clear that we were not interested. He still came close. Thus I pressed the panic button when he reached the patio. He ran away. I think it is a bit of a security issue that needs to be looked into.

A great, comfortable stay at an extraordinary location.

Right on the beach and very clean. Loved the fireplace, braai area and pool. The overall cleanliness and service was great and much appreciated. Communication was a breeze.

We had a most wonderful stay here, very relaxing and peaceful.

Fabulous beachfront location, a well laid out and well appointed property with stunning views of Paternoster Bay. A few minutes walk to Cathy's for a gorgeous breakfast and a few minutes walk to one of the best restaurants in the area, Leeto, just wonderful food.

Loved staying here and hope we can go again soon. I don't recall disliking anything about Graaitjie.

Great location and lots of potential

Extensive Loadshedding meant we could never really use the well equipped kitchen. The house needs better attention, if you charge the rates then you expect things to work. TV in bedroom does not connect, bedside lamp does not work, firelighters provided for the kitchen did not work, toilet seat in main bedroom is very loose, swimming pool was very dirty, full of bugs and old used balloons, i had to clean it before we could use it, not enough hot water for 4 adults to shower. One of the bedrooms was not usable as the inverter or some kind of electrical box beeps the whole night, every few minutes. Not the best experienced and expected more as all reviews were good, worst accommodation so far on our 4week trip. Just being honest, not trying to be negative

You will find it difficult to find something in a more beautiful location and as functional & comfortable as Graaitjie. Right on the beach. Tastefully decorated. Fully equipped right down to the inverter for load shedding.

The view was amazing and beig so close to the beach

Each bathroom only had 1 roll of toilet paper, and by the time we noticed, it was Sunday and the shops were closed. Also only 1 plastic refuge bag. The kids wanted to swim in the pool, but we were told the heat pump was not in working order.

One of the best stays we have ever had!!!

Beautiful home, with great amenities, an absolute joy to live in. Everything is where you expect it to be. Being a bit isolated you almost feel as if you are the only ones in the area, great for anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The heated pool is a gem. Lots of little shops and restaurants to frequent in the area. The people of Paternoster are friendly and inviting. We will definitely be back!

The outside door of the main bedroom could not be opened this was a pity as it has a view of the ocean. The keys provided could not open this. The bath in the main ensuite bathroom could not hold its water and so we did not make use of it. I would have liked to have a bit more instruction on using the alarm system and if one needs to use it?

Wir mussten den Haustürschlüssel umständlich in einem Office neben einem Supermarkt abholen und konnten ihn am Abreisetag erst um 10.00 Uhr wieder abgeben. Da wir am Anreisetag um 19.00 Uhr ankamen, mussten wir zusätzlich 200 Rand bezahlen, da die eigentlichen Öffnungszeiten angeblich von 9.00 bis 17.00 Uhr sind. Wir hatten als Gruppe nur 1 Haustürschlüssel. Kein Ansprechpartner, den man etwas fragen konnten. Es hat nie jemand auf unsere Fragen per Email oder WhatsApp reagiert.
