The Cottage Collection is newly built, clean and modern, with a peaceful atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. We particularly liked the fresh interiors and the quiet setting. Overall, however, our stay was fairly average, and the property is quite far from both the beach and town, which may be inconvenient if you want to explore the area regularly.
The cottage was not adequately stocked with basic amenities for a weekend stay. Although it has both a fireplace and a braai, there was not enough firewood provided. When we requested additional wood, we were told to purchase it from the shop instead. There were also no dishwasher pods despite having a dishwasher, and basics such as dishwashing liquid, coffee, salt and pepper were not provided. These small touches would have made the stay feel much more welcoming and convenient.
