Beautiful cottage in a white wash village

Beautiful cottage, plenty of in home amenities and lovely staff.

Please provide basic bathroom essentials like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If I’m there for 1-2 nights I do not want to have to buy huge bottles of these in the mini mart. The next comment is about the village of Paternoster itself as the cottage was beautiful and could not fault it. I’m torn on the village, it offers some beautiful restaurants such as Wolfgat but we found it quite boring. Apart from the beach and eating, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot to do so I would not plan to stay any longer than 1-2 nights max.

Relaxing and enjoyable!😁

A very comfortable, cottage, ideal for two couples with one bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The living area was spacious leading onto an outside sheltered barbecue area, as well as a very well equipped kitchen.

Gorgeous coastal cottage retreat for all seasons.

This gorgeous Mediterranean style cottage was such a sweet place to stay for our short visit to Paternoster. The staff were so kind and helpful and the home was very clean, well equipped, beautiful style and had comfy beds and a cozy fireplace! Easy walk to the beach or village for a coffee, meal or browse through the quaint shops. Would highly recommend staying here.

One thing we thought would improve the facility would be a washing machine. While we only stayed for 2 nights, we had stocked up some washing from our previous days. But didn’t affect our enjoyment there! Also some more floor rugs would help warm the toes during the cool weather and help dampen the noises.

Relaxing and beaufiful

The purpose of our time away was a brainstorming and strategy weekend for our small firm which is currently undergoing some changes. I could not have hoped for a better setting. We felt comfortable and relaxed and the weekend was very productive. I don't think I could have chosen a better spot for this weekend brainstorming session.

Nice modern cottage in walking distance from beach

It felt large and it was modern &.neat with all the facilities you needed for a comfortable stay. We loved sitting in the courtyard and braai. Lots of birds visited and the wet room opening to another small courtyard was great too. The short stroll to the beach was also nice.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and small for us but it might also because we are used to King size Xtra length at home. A bit more packing space in the bathroom would have been great as well as bigger towels and a bathroom mat.

We were initially not very happy, as we thought we had booked different accommodation but the host was immediately very helpful and showed us another property of theirs to stay in. We moved across straight away and had the most stunning weekend..... so much so that we went back a couple weeks later and are going in June again! :)

Well equipped kitchen and home overall. Lovely spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living room with a fireplace. Inside and outside showers and sliding doors in each room with a garden.

Everything is great - a suggestion is to hang a blind at the sliding door in the TV room to block the sun otherwise a challenge to watch TV

Absolutely wonderful cottage - next time a weeks stay at least!

The cottage was beautifully decorated with an amazing covered patio, lovely garden and wonderfully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was spacious with an inside and outside shower. Centrally located with great parking and access to an excellent restaurant within walking distance.

No dressing table area in the bedroom, however more than enough space in the lounge/ dining area to improvise.
