ROOMs
private bathrooms, television.
Rooms have tea and coffee facilies. Midweek complementary cleaning service for longer stays.
Desk, free Wifi ( working well) and chair for work or leisure.
Slept well in bed.
SHARED
There are 8 rooms
Kitchen was available containing hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and basic tools for cooking, eating.
I think as everyone buys spices and leaves them- there are basic spices for use.
Kitchen towels, dishwashing materials (soap, sponges, cloths), regularly changed and refilled.
Two shared fridges, one freezer
Washing machine, tumble dryer, washing drying rack,
Hairdryer
Table for eating ( and socialising)
LOCATION
For me very convenient. One of the main roads in Burton.
Shopping, postoffice, pubs, trainstation, town centre all in walking distance.
PRICE
Much cheaper than other offers for longer stays. If one stays for weeks then cooking is a necessity and was given.
Communication with Management via whatsapp in case of issues, showed fast responses
Room
My room had in part a very low ceiling. I am 5.10 and had about 30 cm , bare that in mind if tall and ask for a different room.
If you travel with many clothes or longer times, you might need extra hangers .
The temperature is centrally regulated and in winter at 21.5 degree. I am easily cold and needed to layer up.
Kitchen
Basics like forks, bowls, cups, glasses were often not available (not sure if people keep them in their rooms).
No cutting knife or cutting board which clearly makes cooking cumbersome.
Limited space to store food.
Property
The entrance carpet is always a bit wet- shoes at all times.
That part could do with a little love and a carpet clean to be more welcoming.
Sturdy and practical in set up the property over time collected some stains and not all windows open.

Unpleasant stains all over carpet, room had not been hoovered or cleaned we found take away tubs behind the bed and food on the floor, bed was broken and uncomfortable, we were left with bites, did not have a night of good sleep as room overlooked main road which was very noisy particularly due to a loose manhole cover outside. We actually left a couple of nights before our set departure date as we simply couldn’t cope being in the property any longer.

I liked how clean and quiet it was. Communication was good and access was well explained
The shower door was very small. There was no closet space. There was good drawer space and plenty of hooks though.

Very homely and comfortable and the showers are great. Only 10 minutes walk from some really good food places, it does take a google but once you know where they are you’re golden. Not much nose from the main road outside
The area isn’t great and the locals are miserable.

Easy to access. Communication with the tenir staff was good. Room and bathroom were very clean.
The mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. The room was missing it's blind on the window, so there was no way to keep the light out.
I thought it was very basic for the £80 price given the location.

It was handy to have access to a kitchen and microwave as i brought dinner with me to heat up. It is also only a short walk to the train station.
It is right on a very busy road and i am not sure if the windows were double glazed as shutting them made little difference to the traffic noise. When a lorry goes by the whole building seems to rattle. I had a double bed, which was two singles (of different hight mattresses) pulled together. Stair wells smelt rather musty.

Location was alright
Kitchen smelled disgusting, bins full to the brim knocked my sick everytime i walked past it / in there, room tiny and uncomfortable. Couldnt even keep the room key on me as it had to stay in a lock box on a steel wire next to the door, was not happy about this.

Very clean with nice finishes and seemed well maintained and looked after. The room was nice with somewhere to hang clothes, kettle etc and bathroom was clean and pleasant. Overall a very well finished and well kept property.
Traffic! The property is right next to a rather busy road (Wellington St) that doesn't seem to quieten down much as the night goes on. I was there for 2 nights and the first night sleep wasnt great. They do provide ear plugs, single use in sealed wrapper but I struggle to sleep with things in my ears so didnt help me much.
The second night the fire alarm went off about 12:30 in the morning, I checked around and it didnt seem to be burning down but being an unmanned property there was nobody to turn the alarm off. My nephew got onto the phone with someone who said the fire brigade were on there way..... arriving about half an hour after that so we were now getting well into the early hours.
So both nights for me were not restful at all, then a two and a half hour car journey home, safe to say i felt a bit rubbish.

It was easy to check in, and prior to the booking the communication was good.
There were a number of issues. The room was at the front next to the road and was VERY noisy with trucks, cars and people shouting. Ear plugs were supplied but they didn't really help enough. The bed was two singles pushed together, one of the singles was fine but the springs in the other one have gone. I moved to the better mattress then a few minutes later heard the springs from the other one ping back up into place! The bathroom was a wet room which flooded quite heavily when I used the shower. Plenty of towels were provided and I used a couple to mop up.
I am due to stay again next week and have requested a refund (admittedly a day later than the guaranteed refund date but with would be appreciated given the uncomfortable stay above!) however the communication after the stay has been much slower since.
UPDATE: After asking a few times, I have been given a refund for the second stay which was due to start tonight, so that is a positive at least!

Modern very bright clean room, bigger than expected, loved the king size bed and bedding and simple yet stylish decor, bathroom was a good size with lovely fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries supplied. Made use of the shared kitchen and ironing facilities provided. Location was good 10 minutes from the train station and the real ale pubs around the area also near a fantastic curry house and a gurkha restaurant
Situated on a very busy road..but ear plugs are provided. Also a slight smell eminating from the shower trap but it is a very old converted public house a bit more bleach on the cleaning rounds should help

Breakfast not included but the kitchen facilities were excellent.
The accommadation was on a busy main road which was used by lorries and cars all night, at times extremely noisy. We were in room 1 which was next to the pathway and road.

Lovely and Quiet. No crying babies or whinging children
There were no hooks behind main door for my coat.
No hooks in the bathroom to hang my wet towel.
I would suggest that these be installed

Fantastic and super easy to get checked in. We loved the independence of this place.
The tv didn’t work but we didn’t consider this to be a problem as we both had iPads and the internet worked fine.

The communication with the host via What’s app went very smoothly, and host were helpful/friendly. Despite the low price it was clean and cosy, so price worthy. The door code was a good solution.
The kitchen smelled a bit weird, despite otherwise being clean. I think that it could be stated more clearly that the kitchen and washing machine was shared with other guests.

For value, our room was as good as you can get with Premier Inn if not better. Very clean 👌
Outside traffic noise but nothing ear plugs won't fix👍 Would be good to have cooler rooms but not a major issue really.
9.0 / 10.0
The room was in good shape and quiet as it was at the back of the building and easy to access being on the ground floor. I was very pleasantly surprised.
The only issue was access to the shower. The sliding door only gave about 0.5m gap to get in and out and the shower base was quite a step up. There was a narrow gap between the shower cubicle and the wall so a better design would have been a floor level base filling the full width of the room with a splash panel one end and curtain at the other or folding door to allow a bigger gap to get in and out, or make it a wet room with just a curtain. That was my only issue with the accommodation, everything else was great.

An ok room to stay in bathroom was reasonable
Parking you had to be quick to find a space close to the building as it’s only street parking available

Location was fantastic. 5 minutes from the train station and easy to find. Very good communication leading up to our arrival and we had no issues accessing the property or room. Room was clean and presentable, and there was complimentary tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc which we weren't expecting. And also ear plugs were provided which I'm glad about, as the room was on the front so over the road which was very nosy with traffic all the time. However we were expecting it from the reviews and we managed to sleep well regardless. Shower was very good nice and hot. No water pressure issues. Cash machine, grocery shop, takeaway and pub all 2 mins walk away so plenty of everything we could need on our doorstep. Would stay again.
Nosy, not enough milk sachets.

Loved the whole place, very well decorated and calming feeling. Quiet. No sound from other guests and little from road. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Bonus was fully equipped kitchen with fridge storage and unique food I'd system. It was lovely.
It was a bit warm for us, fan in bathroom was loud compared to other noises - ie none. Toilet flush also loud and made odd noise. Outside didn't match inside. Took while to work out how to open windows. Nothing to prevent great stay and would love to stay again
