No TV in 2 of the bedrooms but that's because we had 2 teenage boys wanting to game on PlayStation

Beautiful Home

The property was really spacious, with 2 living areas to relax in with others. The beds are really comfy, there’s a massive bath which was lovely, and the location is an easy walk from town. Staff were very helpful with an issue with parking permits as the previous guests didn’t seem to leave theirs behind. The property over all was great, and any ‘negatives’ don’t taint how the stay was.

There are not enough permits provided for how many people the property caters for so we had to find a nearby road to park on too. The shower in the main room’s bathroom isn’t very powerful and the water doesn’t get particularly hot for a bath, so it cools down too much too quickly. Could do with some more pillows for the beds. There is lots of stuff in the kitchen cupboards which people wouldn’t really use on a trip away but it means there wasn’t really anywhere for us to store food we bought besides in the fridge. The soap provided was all little bars which I find to be a bit wasteful and there was no antibacterial soap. Also there is only one key provided, which makes it very difficult when people want to go out separately, especially if others are still sleeping.

Lovely house and area but uncomfortable beds and no bathroom locks

Great location. Easy walk to centre of York. Very pretty Victorian house with sunny back patio. Quiet area.

No locks on the bathroom doors. Mattresses lumpy and uncomfortable and need replacing. The single bed squeaks very badly. The property is looking a little tired and the garden is very overgrown

loved the location as quiet. items such as the oven and hob were superb quality. rooms great size. bedrooms comfortable. shower and bathrooms high standard. Cosy our doors seating area. loved the place.

Patio wasn’t clean. Cigarette butts Outside lights didn’t work Patio pots all dead. Either clear away or make nice Carbon monoxide alarm kept bleeping. We had to change batteries. No bath sheets - bath towels too small!

The bins were overflowing with rubbish on arrival, the agent was quite dismissive and unsympathetic to the issue.

Comfortable, clean and great location

Location was great, very clean, comfortable and nice fittings. Very close to York town centre, making it easy to walk with the kids for sightseeing.

I phoned customer service a few minutes before their closing time, on the Saturday and they did not answer. Phoned their emergency number and no one got back to us for the duration of our stay. Found a dirty glass in the cupboard so decided to wash everything before using
