Great location and great host

Location is great, owner is so lovely. Cute rooms with mini kitchen is really handy She even got us beach towels and checked in on us throughout our stay. Thanks!

Clean and nicely located but very small and dark

The location was great, within the old town and close to lots of bars and restaurants.

The room was very small with very little light, it felt quite claustrophobic. We struggled to find anywhere to place our luggage which made moving around the room very difficult. No coffee machine available or breakfast option despite both being mentioned on booking.com

Beautiful decor, great location and spotless

Loved the decor and location was amazing - right in the heart of the old town. Eleni was great and arranging the golf cart for pickup and drop off was very helpful otherwise I would have struggled with my heavy luggage. Great recommendation of restaurants too

Nothing the villa could do as there was a festival on so music concerts were playing in the old city. It was fun to watch them and dance but when I wanted to sleep, I needed ear plugs. However besides that, I couldn’t hear other rooms pipes going, etc so it was lovely and quiet. It was a small room that I had. Not sure how two people would manage it

A home away from home in the perfect location!

The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated, felt like a home away from home! The rooms are very quiet and hard to believe a step outside and you're amongst all the atmosphere of Rovinj, restaurants, bars and shops, exceptional location! Eleni the owner is incredible, she helped us with transfers and drivers after our flights were cancelled and went over and beyond. She recommended restaurants, places to see and things to do, a perfect host. Thank you for such a beautiful and memorable stay.

Perfect location and comfortable room to explore Rovinj!

Great location, hosts were great! They can organise a car from/to the airport, provide you with any information you need. Room was lovely, has everything you need and is super clean!

The only (and this is a tiny thing) was that the full length mirror was in an awkward place behind a door so you couldn’t really access it!

Lovely stay in a lovely town

Rovinj is a jewel of a town, and Villa Duketis is a jewel of a guesthouse. From the warm welcome from the innkeeper, to her excellent dining recommendations, to the comfort of the room itself, this is a place I hope to return in the future.

A spotless room in a great location with very welcoming hosts.

Eleni was very welcoming and helpful. She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and organised a transfer back to the airport for us. The location in the old town is fantastic. The room was spotless and the air conditioner was very effective.

A lovely place to stay in an incredible story book town!

The studio was clean, lovely and well appointed. The location is perfect. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They have an office where you can store your bags which is a huge bonus. It's a charming place and I would definitely recommend it.

It's noisy early in the morning. This is not the owners fault. It's because it is the located in the old town. Businesses are bringing in supplies, removing trash and this is all happening on cobblestones. I would have liked more comfortable bedding/pillows and softer towels. Not related to the hotel but parking is challenging.

A quaint family run gem in the heart of the old city walls

Great location amongst the old city walls. Lovely couple that look after the rooms passed down from generation. Needs a coffee machine so you can make a decent cup of coffee in the morning. Nice touch to have local produce in the room upon arrival. Offered place to keep our luggage on departure day which was super helpful. Rovinj prices have rocketed over the years and there has been some unsightly development pop up in recent years but it still a magical little place that I like to visit when in Croatia.

Coffee head so would have been nice to have a small espresso machine in there to enjoy a coffee in the room but apart from that sweet place in the centre of a historic town ran by a lovely couple.

The innkeeper was very kind and offered to help in any way possible. The room was made up beautifully, but it was a bit cramped. Having special welcome treats was a nice touch.

Cannot wait to come back!

The location of the property is perfect! We arrived by ferry and it is only a 3 min walk from the port of Rovinj, in the very heart of the town-you can walk anywhere from there (including the beach, of course). The room is beautiful-not the biggest, but gracefully decorated, fully equipped (full kitchen, a removable rack to hang your beachwear outside your window and even an ironing board), and extremely clean. We really appreciated the care that the service staff took in making the room, too, e.g. by leaving a fresh bottle of water, some dry and fresh fruits and even hanging our clothes! Another very thoughtful detail was that the airco unit was silent and the vent was facing away from the bed, keeping the room at a very pleasant temperature. The breakfast was served in a café nearby and it was wonderful! Last, but not least, the owner is so very friendly and available without ever being invasive. You have full autonomy during your stay, but it never feels like you are left to yourself in case you need anything. Overall, villa Duketis is a little gem in a gem of a town. You can certainly always opt for a bigger hotel/resort with a pool and several restaurants, but to me, staying at Duketis is a much truer, authentic Croatian experience.

If I could change one very very minor thing, I would prefer to have one blanket over two separate ones (which is more of a german-style bedding).

Very comfortable rooms (and extra dark due to the shutters which made for a great night’s sleep!) Excellent central location and yet not at all noisy Lovely hosts that would go out of their way to ensure you had a pleasant stay

Only slight challenge was the short walk from parking to the hotel, but that is the cost of staying in the beautiful old town. Provided you stuck to the roads, only a very short section was on cobbles

Very charming location right in the Old Town

Great and very personal service, lovely little hotel (just 4 rooms) in a very charming old townhouse, good breakfast in a nearby restaurant included, romantic decorated rooms, daily little attentions (fresh fruits, chocolate) in the room, small fully-equipped kitchenette

As to the nature of an old townhouse a lot of stairs (not a minus, but good to know), bathroom a bit tiny

It was great!

We had great vacations, the apartment was very clean and smelled very good. Everything you would need was there and if not you just have to ask. It was in details decorated and with love . We felt us very comfortable there and the hosts was there for everything , they also explained us lot of things that we could do in Rovinj and nearly. They suggested us Restaurants and Bars. Very friendly hosts the best one I could say! The location was very good , lot of restaurants nearby, cafes and a small supermarket 2 min to foot . The beach also very close. If you are in Rovinj I recommend you to stay at Villa Duketis !

Amazing hosts. Apartments in the heart of everything.

Villa Duketis is situated in the heart of the old town, near to the prominent locations. You will need less than a minute to the sea, best restaurants and main shopping point. However, it is not in the crowdy street. Hosts are friendly, they are running this small hotel quietly and smoothly. Everything is super clean and you can order cleaning up every day if you wish. You will get everything you need.
