It is a medieval building - how fantastic is that! Being so old, there are a one or two things which are not quite up to modern standards but apart from the weirdness of having a free-standing bath in the bedroom, the room was cool, clean, comfortable and very large. The best asset of this hotel is Stefano, the manager. He is possibly the most helpful, welcoming host of any hotel I’ve stayed in. He really made us feel at home. Fantastic central yet quiet location, decent breakfast, good air-con, big clean room and a nice guy in charge - what more could you want.....o.k, a shower in the actual bathroom but that’s not so important compared with Benin the medieval centre of Rovinj.

Stefano the manager is the best. He will organize everything for you and is always at hand. Breakfast is good, European style. The place is in the heart of the old town which is so convenient. The hotel isn’t a 4 star in theUS sense at all, but has Charme. The only drawback k is that the parking spot is in an abandoned shop lot and there is nothing around, so you have to wait for the car service the hotel provides for a fee. Overall I would stay again.

The hotel is in an ancient building meandering over several floors, charming large rooms, very comfortable and quiet. Nice bathroom. Our room faced the street so it had more light than some of the others, but it was quiet. Comfortable bed.

Superb Hotel in a great location in Rovinj Old Town just minutes walk from the waterfront. The property has been lovingly restored and full of character. Friendly staff and a tasty breakfast spread helped to make my stay in Rovinj a memorable one.

Location is fabulous and hotel is nice. Staff mostly helpful. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We, and other guests, had things go missing from our room. Fortunately we got ours back, but the excuse we got was not credible. Leaving aside the bed and the missing items, it was a great place. We did enjoy our stay in Rovinj, and here.

A nice hotel, very centrally located - although a bit hard to find. Parking is not nearby, and luggage will need to be carried over some winding cobblestone streets. Inside is nice, clean, big. And services is polite and informative.

We loved this hotel! If you contact them when you arrive (if by car) they will pick you up so you dont have to walk to the hotel (since cars are not allowed in the old town). They will also drop you back off at the car when you need. Matt gave us rides and he was just a great guy to talk to and get info from. Everyone in the front was really nice. The room and bathroom (and shower) were huge, I dont know if all rooms are like that, but it was such a pleasant surprise. There is also a GREAT view of the city from the room, I recommend you check it out. We met the owner, Zvonko, and he was awesome! He helped us get a dinner reservation at a great restaurant on the rocks of the waterside, and at the end of the night, he hosted a Hungarian Johnny Cash cover band on the streets next to his building, where it was a lot of fun to hang out! He was great, the ambiance there was great, the room was great, I highly recommend!
