Nice surroundings
There was no WiFI at all for the stay. Communication with the staff is not easy but they are cordial .
For both the rooms you have to climb steps.

Perfect location in the middle of Rovinj Old Town. Nice characterful medieval building. Room was quite atmospheric and large with comfortable bed and sofa and useful desk. A friendly host met me at the bus station and drove me round to the vicinity of the hotel. As I was staying two non-consecutive nights, the host allowed me to leave my larger piece of luggage in my room while I was overnight in Porec. Basically a very nice place to stay.
Breakfast (slightly limited menu) is served in a dining area in a separate building round the corner from the room, so you have to go out into the street and back in again to eat it. No serious reservations, though!

Perfect place to stay while in the middle of Rovinj. Just steps away to all of the sites in the downtown area. We stayed in the main part of the hotel. Really appreciated the free shuttle from the offsite parking location. Luk (reception & shuttle driver while we were there) was extremely helpful. Breakfast was substantial and delicious! Would stay here again if we return to Rovinj.
More a FYI than a problem: you'll want to be sure to bring an eye mask to use while sleeping. Our room stayed quite light at night due to the streetlights' being right outside our window so were glad we had eye masks to use.

Located in the center of the old town (pedestrian area). Apartments are in a couple of very old buildings that have modern updates. They offer a shuttle service to transport you and your bags into pedestrian area on a golf cart.

I was actually in a property annex in a parallel street. The room was clean, bed comfortable and lovely cobblestones street views from my windows. Tea and coffee making and a small fridge. Small clean bathroom, great hot water. Ceiling beams added to the old world feel. Close to everything - main square, waterfront, restaurants, church and views. Breakfast included, small buffet and personal service from the ladies serving barista coffee. Lucky at reception was very helpful and informative. Oh and great wifi! Easy walking distance from but station for averagely fit.
Naturally having to wheel a suitcase on cobblestones and up flights of steps, but I was prepared for this. Maybe a notice on the shower pipe carrying hot water, very hot!

Lucky (the young man that did the check-ins & pick ups with the golf cart) is excellent. He has wonderful people skills.
We loved everything. Best location.
Great breakfast.

Location and helpful staff is the highlight of our stay in Hotel Casa Garzotto. If you can, always ask for rooms 3 and 4, which are the best. If you have a problem with the stairs, there are 43 stairs to rooms 3 and 12 more to room 4
Paper coffee cups in the room. Some Nespresso coffee machine would be nice to have in the room.

We really liked the location as it is right in the center of the old town. You truly get the feel of the Rovigno vibe. The view was great and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Shout out to Lazar who was really helpful.
Considering the building which is really old, stairs are a bit tricky to climb. Facilities are a bit basic, no water is offered in the room and only Nescafé 3in1 is there, no coffee machine nor slippers, robes etc. Breakfast could be improved. I would say that it is a bit overpriced for what you get, but if you value the location more, then this is the right choice.

Perfect location in old town, walking distance to most attractions, swimming spots and great restaurants. Very comfortable for a family of four. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Free parking and pick up to transport to the apartment in old town.
Everything was as expected or better.

The property was beautiful, charming & very old with many historical features including the old cellars & well. The hotel is on a lovely picturesque cobblestone street leading up to the top of town. Breakfast was hot & made to order with a buffet. Lucky & Marco made parking the car & getting our luggage up the stairs to the hotel rooms as easy as possible. They are a great asset to the hotel & we appreciate everything they did. We would definitely stay here again!!
We liked the hotel very much & the stairs didn’t bother us (in our 60’s) but people with mobility issues should be aware.

This is a gem of a hotel. The staff that we interacted with were truly excellent. We drove to Rovinj and found the parking to be easy, and we were picked up in a golf cart right at the designated time. Our host helped us to our rooms and then showed us the way to the main building where breakfast would be held.
The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean, comfortable, and located right in the middle of the old town. The air conditioning was very welcome during the heat wave. The breakfast was nice and in such a lovely setting. Top marks all around.
Nothing - this place was exactly what we were looking for.

Very pleasant stay, we absolutely loved Rovinj. Central location was perfect and staff went above and beyond. Free bikes were an awesome perk!
Our Annex Building room was fairly big and comfortable, but the bathroom was too small for my other half. Still, we loved our stay and appreciated the value

Truly a wonderful, intimate, historic boutique hotel. The warmth and friendliness of the staff (front desk and breakfast) made our vacation even more special. They went out of their way whenever possible including providing us with beach bags and towels and a bagged breakfast in our refrigerator when they realized we were leaving at 4:00 am. Hands down one of my favorite hotel s and staff.

The staff was so sweet and helpful. Location was excellent as we walked everywhere. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
There were stairs to the bedrooms but we were able to manage fine!

Great location, large room, clean, nice staff.
I was fine with the steps but travelers should be aware there are steep steps to the second and third floor in the main house. Marko the assistant was very helpful getting bags upstairs and also around town.

Location was great and it was easy to reach the waterfront. Breakfast was brilliant with freshly made eggs. Staff were friendly and informative, and responsive to WA texts. We loved the little window showing the nearby alleyway where we could sit and people watch. Being able to borrow their bikes was much appreciated as it allowed us to cycle along the coast to find a less crowded beach
Poor wifi in the room. Only 1 tiny soap bar provided throughout our 4 night stay though in retrospect we may have been able to request another but being in the annex made it less straightforward to do this

The vibeess are unmatched. So carefully picked old furniture and such a special ambiance. Employees are the nicest, you really feel like a part of a family. Breakfast is perfect!
A lot of stairs and there was no warm water at times.

Quirky layout of building. We were located in Annex block 2 streets away from main hotel but this was not a problem.
No TV so nice & quiet.
Very small bathroom & basic room. 4 tatty coat hangers were left, hotel could have done better here.
Very thin curtains just about fitted, again this could be easily fixed.
Main Annex door was locked overnight & although we were given a key any emergency evacuation would have been compromised. Recommendation of thumb wheel locks.

This is a gorgeous traditional hotel right in the centre of Rovinj. It's located across three old houses and has been renovated beautifully, with its exposed wooden beams and solid wooden doors and antique furniture. Maria is wonderful hostess and her omelettes are not to be missed! Highly recommended!
There was nothing we didn't like about this lovely hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is exceptional, a few steps from the port and surrounded by restaurants and shops. Sanja and Bojan were very friendly and arranged transfers to and from the apartment. After checkout we were able to keep our bags in the apartment until we left Rovinj.

Tell the people that it is very many steps from the ground to the room! It is only for young people with "good" feet!

We loved the location in the old city .The
stairs to the bedroom kept us fit.Sandra and Toni were very helpful and the breakfast young people were obliging.
We loved the street, the restauraunts and the bars nearby. They met us and arranged transport to the bus.

The location was no where near the charming Casa Garzotto. It was a dirty street full of electrical wires, graffiti and the building was awful. The room was tiny, not even a TV. Not even a coffee cups just paper cups and the hairdryer blew up and the hotel staff wouldn’t even get me another one. There was no shutter on the window so we had a street light shine in our room all night. The upstairs guests were so noisy we hardly slept both nights there. I was so disappointed especially for what we paid. We had other accomodation in Rovinj old town for less than half the price of this that was 10 times better.

extremely cool location. our room was in another building than the reception and breakfast room but all buildings have an unique character and style which is really cool. the hosts were super helpful and nice.
breakfast was very good with freshly made coffee. we would definitely visit this place again

We were in the annex which is a rustic building a block from the main hotel, but still in the middle of the old town. Location was great and room was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. They make parking very easy for you. ps. follow their written instructions when arriving with a car(google maps and our cars gps were not useful).
You do need to be somewhat agile to climb the stairs in the annex. Breakfast is a short block away which is not an issue unless you’re directionally challenged (old town is a maze).

location was fabulous and the staff were very helpful
the room was located separate from the hotel and confusing to locate.
the facilities were very basic.
the fridge made terrible noises constantly and you had to hold the shower head as it was broken & detached from the wall

Everything.
The steep stairs could be a problem.
10.0 / 10.0
The location is a little way up from the main gate and has several restaurants close by. The rooms are full of character and the people running it could not have been kinder. Breakfast is served in a marvellous room. I just liked everything. A to go back to place. I even got taken by car to the bus station and could not ask for more. It is also minutes from the waterfront where the boats leave from so easy to plan your day. Maybe best to clmb up to S Euphemia and walk back down the way the cars go as coming down is a nightmare for an aged stick person.
The stairs are steep but they are steep everywhere in Rovinj and they moved me down a floor which helped.
