So i have been coming here like for 20 years and i could see how the place has developed. From more then 100 of visits i can say that Maistra is more and more oriented on serving crowds, families, different events that happen in Rovinj. It is always packed and the restaurant is like coming in a self catering restaurant in a shopping mall. The foood is great, but if you r looking for a peaceful place this is not it. The staff is doing their best in this mass of people and you could already tell they are tired at the end of the season. Also another negative comment. I was in Maistra hotels for so many times, not just this resort and they ask me every single time if this is my first time here. I even have their loyalty card. Also when i asked this morning for an late check out for extended one hour they just said NO, this is to complicated for us. I remember in the past they once let me stay for more then one hour. And don't say that you are fully booked. The season is ending...

Cleanliness of the rooms and facilities were not up to standard for a hotel of this rating. Breakfast was super crowded with hardly any spaces to sit and half the items not available. The bar closes at 11pm and after that there is nowhere to go

Our first apartment was moody and smelly. We asked for another one immediately, the second one was better but also very old and not so clean.
