Hidden place hidden costs

The room was good and the building had some good history.

Hard to find and there was a hidden cost for parking the car. I was also asked to depart at 8.00am, I negotiated to 9.30am.

Wonderful place in the middle of old Viterbo!

To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it.

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

Beautiful palazzo, cozy, well equipped room, well heated (in winter it is very important). Host Renato was very friendly and efficient. Good location, easy to find, close to all places of interest. Renato runs an excellent restaurant Chimera also nearby.

Great location in the heart of medieval Viterbo, very friendly owner Renato who helped with parking and everything else asked. Very friendly vibe with enthusiastic travelers sharing tips in pleasant breakfast room. Not exactly quiet, but I found friendly atmosphere made up for that.

Small friendly hotel in a house from the 1400’s

The host was very friendly and helpful and even fixed me a glutein free breakfast! Our room was sparsely furnished and somewhat worn, but absolutely clean and bed was comfortable enough. If you are interested in the old town on Viterbo, the situation is very good, everything in easy walking distance.

Wi-Fi in our room wasn’t good enough to play movies.

Perugia non delude mai, per un weekend è una meta ottimale e non costosa.

Gestore gentilissimo e disponibile (volendo si può mangiare a un loro ristorante nelle vicinanze), struttura in palazzo d'epoca, dotazioni attempate ma ancora efficienti. Stanza molto ampia. Colazione buona. WI-FI ok.

Renato fa vertiginosamente alzare la valutazione della struttura che si presenta un pò datata e non molto curata nei dettagli. La pulizia è buona la colazione andrebbe un pò rivista sia per la qualita dei prodotti sia per la presentazione. A nostro avviso, trattandosi di una struttura davvero comoda per il centro, andrebbero meglio curati i particolari. Comodo la disponibilità del parcheggio chiuso(a pagamento) e ottima la locanda consigliata da Renato.

Il riscaldamento in camera è con un condizionatore (un pò rumoroso) che si attiva solo una volta inserita la chiave elettronica per cui la stanza risulta non adeguatamente riscaldata, c'è da dire che le giornate del nostro soggiorno erano molto fredde,

La disponibilità del titolare, (venivano da un esperienza super negativa presso altra struttura) ci ha.messo a nostro agio dandoci tutte le indicazioni necessarie e facendoci sentire come a casa. La posizione è strepitosa l unico rimpianto è non essere riusciti ad andare a mangiare a loro ristorante

Non ho cose da indicare sicuramente ci possono essere piccole migliorie ma noi abbiamo soggiornato nella festa di santa Rosa ed è stato tutto di 🏃‍♀️..

Ho trovato più che gentile e cordiale il proprietario, il sig. Renato, che gestisce un luogo incantevole e suggestivo nel cuore medievale di Viterbo, all'interno del palazzo appartenuto al cardinale Raffaele Riario intorno al 1500. L’appartamento è molto confortevole e perfettamente in armonia con la struttura storica del palazzo. La colazione è ricca e curata, e Renato si è dimostrato sempre disponibile a fornire ogni informazione utile per rendere il soggiorno il più piacevole possibile. Un'esperienza autentica che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca charme, storia e ospitalità.

La piazzetta d’ingresso, con il suo antico lavatoio ben curato, è splendida sia di giorno che di notte, capace di creare un’atmosfera davvero romantica. Peccato per le auto dei residenti parcheggiate nei dintorni: servirebbe una soluzione lungimirante per liberare il centro storico dal traffico. Resta comunque un luogo affascinante, ricco di storia e di charme.
