The property itself is very clean, the pool is cleaned daily. The facilities were brilliant. So many shops and restaurants near. The road is full of lovely people. Couldn’t recommend enough. Great location and beautiful Accomodation.

If you are a light sleeper being eat plugs as music plays every night down the street. I also like a dark room and the pool light shone through the light curtains. The safe only worked occasionally.

Dirty room, broken AC, unsafe open bathroom, and a rude manager named Gus Black who constantly begged for tips

The many many mosquitoes, insects and lizards

The manager, Gus Black, was the worst part of our stay at Senders Pool Suites in Bali. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and constantly asked for tips every time we met him. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I tried to raise complaints about the room, he told me the owner was “in Japan,” then strangely claimed that he himself was the owner! It was confusing and felt dishonest. The room was hot and uncomfortable because the AC is way too small for such a large, high-ceiling room. It barely cooled the space, and sleeping at night was miserable. The bathroom was unacceptable. It has no ceiling, so it’s completely open to the outside, scary at night and boiling hot during the day. There’s no lock on the bathroom door, and it opens directly to the garden, meaning anyone could come in from outside. It did not feel safe or private at all.(please see the photo with the opening) They also misled guests about breakfast, it was very limited and not free for children. Definitely not the “included breakfast” they advertise. Overall, this place is badly managed, uncomfortable, unsafe, and not worth the price. The photos online are totally misleading. The management — especially Gus Black, clearly doesn’t care about guests’ comfort or safety. All he wanted was tips and please write good review. Kept forcing me to write. He offered me refund for one day room stay and in the end didn’t give it. Water had a very odd smell. Felt like sewage water linked. Guess what the water never drained. It was awful (see my video) House keeping came to clean the room at 10pm. Can u believe it? I had to wait outside with the child and it was awful. Very badly managed place (I hv a screen shot of the timing they cleaned) The view is not like the pics. In the nights it’s like u r staying next to a graveyard. Please have a look at the pic. So deserted n unsafe Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are far better, more honest, and safer places to stay in Bali.

love the location, didn’t mind the exercise to walk to where we wanted to go. Beautiful grounds and rooms, great staff, well kept.

It was disappointing that the pool had so much chlorine and so much so that it’s not healthy to swim in, as the body absorbs it, hence we didn’t use our pool and this was a big reason we chose to stay.

No place to put the clothes and luggage. White towels are not white anymore. Some of them probably were folded when still damp. They smell. House coat have stains on them. The water bottle lids have mold.

No shower , after spending nearly 2 hours from airport had to wait while staff finished eating . Very dismissive . Villas great but as said . No one told me shower forget was only for show ! Yes good location as have stayed in the same street b4 . If asked would I stay again , given value for money have stayed same location , better service , amazing breakfast , one third of the price .

Well located, but overpriced.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The bedroom was pretty and the pool was nice. The staff was really friendly and attentive.

Overall, it is overpriced for what it is. I've stayed in way better hotels for half the price in Bali. The breakfast was ok, but for the money we paid (200NZD dollars a night), we would've liked to have a second coffee or glass of juice without being charged for it. The bed is quite small for two people and the aircon is not strong enough. The villas are not well insulated either so pretty noisy both at night and early mornings. There's no comfortable space to hang out outside the room either.

Beautiful with some downsides

The place was beautiful, the room was amazing and had everything you need. Location was great aswell close to city centre. Staff were so helpful and attentive. The roof is not fully attached and has gaps so a lot of mosquitoes get into the room and so much street noise it made it hard to sleep. While we were there the power cut out a lot due to property electrical problem which made the AC cut out and we went during the hot period.

Beautiful and small hotel in the heart of Ubud

The hotel was very private although located on one the busiest streets in Ubud. We loved the room and the atmosphere of the hotel. Lot of nice restaurants near by and all the Ubud attractions close by. Nice small pool that was shared with the villa next door.

Traffic noise came to the room but we didn't mind as we wanted to stay in the central Ubud (where you cannot avoid traffic noise). Lot of mosquitos as there are parts of the villa (bathroom) that are linked to outdoors but there was a beautiful mosquito net in the room that covered us while sleeping.

Beautiful design in a lovely corner of Ubud.

Loved the room, bed comfy, beautiful design. Nice bathroom but acted as a greenhouse so very hot in the day! We loved the area and thought it was perfect proximity to the centre of Ubud whilst also being quiet and short walk to nice bars and restaurants.

No storage at all made it difficult to keep the room clutter free. You share a pool with the next door villa which depending on your side may mean you have neighbours on sun loungers directly outside your room early in the morning.

Avoid these frauds

Noticed the bath/shower hot & cold taps was completely broken as soon we checked in. The water leak was so bad that it flooded the entire bathroom. Informed them on Day 1 of our 3 night stay and it wasn't fixed at all. Requested for a room change or refund and they said they couldn't do either. Their solution was turning off the water supply when we didn't have a shower and then sending someone over with a mop to sort out the flooding after every shower. Interesting part was that after we checked out, there was someone else waiting to check in to our room. So they checked us in knowing this problem existed and are still continuing to check in other people.

Superb!

Everything! The rooms are so beautiful and the staff are very accommodating. Location is amazing too with the monkey forest and main shopping strips only a short walk away. If you don't want to go far there are lots of great bars and restaurants on the hotels door step.

Unfortunately it was really noisy of a night time, nearby restaurants music was really loud until 10.30pm and motorcycles were loud most of the night. Guessing this was to be expected due to location. There were a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the room due to the gaps in hut. You have to use the net over the bed which l wasn’t a fan of. The bathroom wasn’t air conditioned so pretty humid immediately after a shower. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough either, maybe needed a service. We were there for 4 nights and the pool was like a swamp when we arrived. They treated it immediately but we couldn’t swim until the 2nd last day. They did provide a free floating breakfast for the inconvenience. But not really ideal not being able to use the pool on arrival.

Beautiful accommodation in the hub of Ubud.

The ambience of the property is fabulous. Privacy is great and the decor sets the stage for a very romantic stay. It’s in close proximity to the shopping hub and many restaurant choices. Staff were very friendly and happily obliged any requests we made. Really enjoyed our stay.

When we arrived there was a miscommunication about the inclusion of breakfast that we had paid for in our room rates but was quickly sorted and rectified. Through the week when we had our room made up our towel supply seemed to diminish and we had to ask for face washers and hand towels/ pool towels more than one occasion. Housekeeping was inconsistent with removal of fruit bowls/ flowers in vase etc. staff placed my purchased fruit directly on table and removed fruit bowl for last two days without explanation.Coffee sachets were initially hard and dried up and replaced sometimes and not others. Just don’t feel we should have had to remind them.

Location is good, walking distance to Monkey Forest road, about 1km, lots of cafes, shops, spas along the way. Staff were AMAZING, they couldn't do enough for you, went above and beyond. The accommodation looks exactly like the pictures so beautiful, pool area was great. Gardens were immaculate.

Mirror in the bathroom has a grey tinge, not sure why. No wardrobe but did provide a clothes rack with 2 shelves. The adjoining restaurant was ok for breakfast. If you're happy to walk bypass food here as there are some great cafes nearby with a better menu and same price. Two villas share one pool, it's ok if you're with friends but you may be sharing with strangers.

The villa looked good the mattress was very comfortable. Villa Well looked after and great location. Lovely workers but communication was hard.

The pool wasn’t useable very dirty and not correctly checked. We booked as a group and all our villas were in seperate locations. The step to get into the villas are super high which my mum has bad knees struggled. They ended up making steps for her which was good.
