Really calming environment, space between huts, beautiful walk through the garden, delicious vegetarian breakfast, lovely accommodating staff. We stayed in the family villa which had 2 bunks and a king bed so there was lots of space for our family (2 adults, 4 kids). Partially outdoor bathrooms - lovely to be out in nature and away from the business of Ubud. Good pool & steam sauna open 3 nights a week.
There is no car access (part of its charm) but the walk to the hotel takes a good 15 minutes along a narrow gang, so training our little kids (3, 5 & 6) to stay out of motorbikes’ way and walk along the side was a challenge (a bit of a struggle is character building though so we were really happy to do it). It may just be prohibitive if you’re not able to hop on a scooter/ willing to walk to get in or out every day. The walk is beautiful with rice fields and a great range of restaurants all the way along.

Winderfull and organic setting within a rice field. No cars are allowed access and so the natural frequency of quiet and sounds of toads and animals going about their business is so relaxing. superb steam and fire. Great find! I am regular now:)

The place has a unique vibe, it’s not only a “stay the night” but an experience. Nature is present there 100% fireflies, Tokek, lizards, frogs - wonderful orchestra at night 😋 the breakfast fantastic ! And the staff really helpful with everything needed.
Personally, only that the sauna was a bit crowded and “silent”. As a guest I’d like to enjoy it and feel free to talk if pleased.
As I traveled with family (4 people) it became a bit challenging to fit everyone’s comforts especially with no AC and the nature inside & the main road to the village is about 10 min walk so not everyone liked the extra hustle

The village is very cute and the different huts were really beautiful. The landscaping was nice but run down and not maintained to a high standard.
The staff were friendly and kind.
For those travellers looking for air con, this place does not have any. There are ceiling fans in the rooms but for my children and I, the heat was too much and we needed air conditioning.
The pool smelt damp. I couldn’t swim in it.
The place is a 10mins the walk to the main road, or short motorcycle ride. If you’re looking for seclusion this is a good thing, however, with kids under 10 who didn’t want to get on a motorcycle with no helmet, it wasn’t suitable for us.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I think if I had realised the above points, then I wouldn’t have booked this place.
It was very beautiful though and I’m sure other would enjoy it.
