Location overlooking rice fields was wonderful. Pool was brilliant.
Understandable but building works on other villas in complex was the only downside.

Breakfast was simple and tasty. Lovely to be a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud
It was an experience making my way up to the accommodation with my suitcase and backpack on the back of a scooter!
Though a little hair raising it was good, they are great riders

Fantastic location among ricefields. Quiet and nice garden with sweaming pool. The room is simple but clean and quiet. Expect some guecos sharing tje room but also cleaning it from flies and mosquitoes.
I was travelling by motorcicle so had no problem but be aware you can only reach by motorcicle.

It’s a sweet location in the middle of rice paddies
Make sure to call them so they can collect you.
You cannot access by car. It’s a long walk in or rent a bike
4.0 / 10.0
Near to the town, however the property is only accessible via motorbikes as it’s 5 min drive in from the main road
Very far in from the main road, cars couldn’t go in. Wasn’t informed about this before making the booking.
The bedsheet didn’t seem clean, both of us got bitten by bed bugs.
Nothing to shout about, there was no scenery or nice looking paddy fields, the grass are tall and messy

Fantastic location, staying right in the rice fields but 5 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. Owner is so lovely. Room is just what you need, cold A.C good bathroom etc. Cannot recommend enough
Nothing , fantastic stay 👍

We had the most amazing stay at Taman Bintang. Mr agung and his staff went above and beyond. It was a beautiful location tucked away from the hustle of ubud, surrounded by rice field and nature. We couldn’t recommend this place more and will be back!

Clean room, varied breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and away from the noise of Ubud. Being out of the way resulted in very peaceful mornings - my wife took great delight in watching the ducks waddle along.
For some the walk to the hotel may be a little long. Need a torch if walking back at night.

The breakfast was nice. Also the help with the motorcycle rides to get to my taxi and carry my luggage was great.
The breakfast service was a bit slow but that is okay.

The owners and staff at this facility were so wonderful and friendly. They would go out of their way to help you.
Breakfast was varied and delicious. They even made me a breakfast early on my last morning to take with me! The pool was clean and inviting. Only 4 sun loungers around pool area. The grounds were very well kept.
Each evening, I was given a mosquito coil to place in my villa as it backed straight onto a rice field.
If you are looking for a peaceful and a get away from it all holiday, then this is your place.
I was a little taken aback with the rustic nature of the wooden villas at first but got used to it by the end of the first week and quite enjoyed my stay. They do have villas with tiled floors. Their patio areas had chairs and a table, but the wooden villas didn't. There was an area for breakfast available for those without.
The location was a little challenging as it is only accessible by motorbike. The hill is quite steep, and the walk is very dark at night. (However, the owner did offer to pick me up if I needed it)
As my villa was wooden, the air-conditioning wouldn't work as well during the day. The villa can get very cold in the early hours of the morning. Therefore, an extra blanket would be good.

Loved this place so much. Simply perfect. The surrounding rice fields are unbelievably beautiful and if you're up for hiking a little north you can even get to a forest. At night, when falling asleep, you hear an orchestra of the nocturnal Balinese animal world with various insects, birds and frogs/toads, but none of the city noises. Staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was good but nothing to write home about. The lunch and dinner options on the road from Ubud town, around the "art market", are some of the best warungs in Ubud.
While there are lots of insects and especially mosquitoes in the evenings, the bed had a mosquito net so no problem.
No water filter or canister around so you always have to buy water bottles in town. No possibility to refill your own bottle.
Ubud itself is completely overrun with tourists and very commercial. In some spots it feels like an outdoor shopping mall for the wannabe spiritual and unaware party crowd. It's the perfect case study for how overtourism ruins a place. But that has nothing to do with this accommodation - in fact because it's 20 minutes walk out of town, you get to enjoy peace and quiet. Just be aware that Ubud is overtourism hell.

The Villa is away from the bustle of the city, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. Made for the perfect way to steep into vacation mode.
The owner and staff were all very lovely and helpful too!
It was within my expectations considering the location of the villa, but worthy to point out that there are many mosquitoes which somehow found their way through the mosquito nets, and also ants trails in the room.

Quiet location in rice fields. Great pool. Large bathroom. Presentation of breakfast.
Mosquitoes in room. Accessible by motor bicycles only - be mindful if you have large luggage.

My girlfriend and I loved it here and wished we had stayed longer. Great location in the rice paddies, walking distance to everything. Staff were really great and picked us up and dropped us off in the busier areas of Ubud on arrival and departure. Breakfasts were beautifully done, real works of art.
Having a swimming pool was a big bonus. Catching the sunrise amongst the rice paddies was awesome too.
Overall I would highly recommend staying here.
Air conditioning was a little weak.

Beautiful place in the middle of the rice fields, though in walking distance to the centre of Ubud or to our favourite Sweet Orange Warung. Very friendly owner, delicious breakfast. It is not possible to access the property by car, only by scooter, but it is not a problem at all, as they will shuttle you from Ubud.

the people that run and work the villas are wonderful. Pleasant place.
I was unaware that there was no way to the location without a long scooter ride up a bumpy track. I have a fractured spine so this was far from comfortable or convenient to call the villa get a ride back and forth to Ubud. I had to park my rental car the other side of town.
I left a day early as it was not a tenable situation. Now let’s talk Mosquitoes…they sucked me dry of type O+ blood.

It's an amazing place, especially in terms of quality to price ratio. The location is extremely beautiful in the middle of the rice paddies and kind of detached from other inns. It's a super peaceful and beautiful place. The owners are also really sweet people.
The only thing is that you have to leave the hotel for lunch/dinner. There isn't food besides the breakfast (which is really good). There is a place nearby called Sweet Orange that serves good food though, so it's not really a big deal :D.

Surely my most beautiful stay during my Indonesian trip. The location is amazing: in the midst of rice fields - hence highly calming - and close to the centre, which one can reach within 10-15 minutes on foot. The family is of an exceptional kindness, always ready to help. Very good value: very cheap for the overall experience. Would definitely recommend it to all!

Good view and atmosphere . Good pool (no clorine) . They provide everything from soap to tooth brush&paste. Picked us up with bikes & saved us a long walk to the hotel (dropped us back right to the top of the road ) . Great staff . Good break fast . Good cleanliness . Thank you Taman Bintang!
Nothing it was perfect for the price paid..

I loved the location. In fact, it was a bit further away than I expected but they offered a free shuttle (by motorbike) down to the main street (starbucks) whenever needed. The bathroom was clean and nice, the main room is big and has a comfortable bed. There is a small balcony with chairs to relax. The view to the garden is great and the small pool is perfect for a quick refreshment. The staff is very friendly and helps wherever possible. All in all, I totally enjoyed my stay.
Nothing really, I wish I could have stayed longer. Oh, in fact, there is a small thing: the breakfast options for vegetarians is not that big, a granola/musli option with Yoghurt would be great.
