Really beautiful rooms with your own pool and lovely staff. Good location.

The best thing was our own private pool and the beautiful gardens. This really was our own special paradise.

The main thing to consider is that it's not an accessible place. There are stairs to get down to the rooms and you can't arrive by car, only walk or get on the back of a motorbike. The hotel offered this for free though and dropped us off to many places.

Fantastic. Perfect stay in Ubud.

This was our first trip to Bali and didn't know what to expect. We stayed at Lasamana Villas for 5 nights and it was amazing. Putu and his staff went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Nothing was too much to ask and they were always happy to assist with a smile and kind words. Transporting us back and forth from the villa was always easy and we always felt safe and was done with no waiting time. We really enjoyed the restaurant on a few occasions and breakfast was enjoyable and delicious. Looking forward to staying here again.

Nice villa but hard to access and very loud

The villa was clean and bed was comfortable.

Access to the property is only via a walking path, which can be reached by scooter or on foot. This was not clearly indicated at the time of booking and made our stay difficult with a baby. We had to walk about 15 minutes to reach the city centre before we could get a taxi. It may not sound like much, but it’s quite uncomfortable in the heat.Additionally, the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear everything outside, which gets very loud at night. The hot water also stopped working a couple of times during our stay. Lastly, we never saw the "free afternoon tea" and were never told where to get it.

Serene, peaceful, relaxing and very well looked after 🙏

Beautiful secluded, well appointed villas in the natural serene environment of the rice paddies with a beautiful Lilly pond in our garden. Only a 1km walk to the heart of Ubud. Highly recommend. The staff were very attentive and friendly. There was a great choice of food on the menu and everything we ordered was delicious.

Highly Recommend

The staff, villa & backyard were all absolutely amazing. We had the best time staying here. Its about a 10 minute walk to get to the main area, but they offer free pick up and drop off from there with their bikes. Highly recommend. You don’t really need to leave. They have a spa, restarant and 24 hour room service.

A beautiful resort in the middle of nature and close to the old market and the center of the Ubud area. The staff are cooperative, but the way to it must be on foot or on a two-wheeled bicycle, and there are natural insects because it is in the middle of fields and nature.

Everything was wonderful, the rooms, the view, the breakfast, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The staff also gave rides to and from Ubud town on motorbikes whenever needed ( small path no cars). This was so much fun.

Beautiful quiet place just a few minutes away from busy Ubud

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location in Ubud, just minutes from the bustling centre, with a private pool overlooking the rice fields. Staff very friendly, choice of several types of breakfast, an oasis of peace and relaxation.

We had a snake in our room that got into the living room through the open bathroom. The staff sorted everything out quickly and caught the snake. It was a common rice snake, not dangerous. They said it was an isolated incident.

My stay at Hotel Lasamana was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the attention to detail and warm hospitality. The room was spotless, beautifully scented, and tastefully decorated – the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Amazing!

It was the perfect distance from ubud. Although you can’t drive all the way to the property, the staff has a free scooter service that runs 24/7 if needed to get to town. Also, the walk is very pretty and easy. The staff was so kind and the rooms were clean and beautiful. They also were so helpful to help us arrange tours/ floating breakfast. Also, the food was good with plenty of western/indonesian options.

Perfect Mix of Serenity and Convenience in Ubud

The villa was absolutely lovely with its own private pool and a peaceful atmosphere. Each morning we sat and watched the rice fields being worked—such a calming and authentic experience. It’s only a 5–7 minute walk from the busy centre of Ubud, but once you’re back at the villa, it feels like another world. The staff were wonderful—so friendly and helpful—and breakfast was very good each day.

There’s nothing we didn’t like, but it’s worth being aware that access to the villa from the main road isn’t ideal if you have large suitcases. We’re travelling for 6 weeks with two cases, but the staff met us at the road with scooters, including one with a trailer for the luggage. We already knew about this, and the whole process was seamless.

The property itself is beautiful. Beds are comfortable, villa was very clean upon arrival. Staff was friendly. They offer an afternoon tea / coffee, which is a nice touch. Really good wifi

Breakfast definitely has to be improved. Food had no taste Villa is not accessible by car, so you would have to take a scooter ride offered by the hotel each time you want to leave and don’t want to walk (about 10-15 min walk to Ubud central parking and then depends on where you go). This was also not mentioned prior to booking

Relax and green area in Ubud

It is super relax, 10min walking away from the city buzz of Ubud. You can also take a scooter (taxi) but we preferred to walk. We had a private pool which was sooo nice. The room very clean, nice outdoor bathroom. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and seating area. My mom was completely fan of the nasi goring. We would definitely book here again!

Unbelievable villa, if you’re looking for a couples place to stay in ubud this is perfect.

Best place we have ever stayed. Me and my girlfriend have been on many holidays and we were nervous about accommodation in ubud as some were hit and miss. I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed at and if you’re unsure about where to stay I wouldn’t even look anywhere else. Just choose here you won’t be disappointed. Staff were amazing, breakfast was amazing, rooms were cleaned daily and got the best nights sleep to get over the jet lag. Cannot recommend Lasamana Villas enough.

Relaxed and chilled stay

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and special. Nothing was too much of a problem. So close to the centre of town but so quiet at the villa. Room service and restaurant were so cheap and amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. Arta and his staff were fantastic, thanks for having us!

Great option for central Ubud

Great location. Set in an area of rice paddies and other guesthouses so lovely and quiet, but only 10 mins on foot to central Ubud. Beautiful little studio villa with a private outdoor space and small pool. Clean and comfortable with huge comfy bed. At night it feels like you’re in the middle of the forest with lots of insect and frog noises - we had the best nights sleep here 🥰The staff are all lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Booked with 60% discount so felt an absolute bargain. Be aware the property is foot and bike access only. The staff are always available to transport you and also baggage; they even very kindly did it for us at 5.30 the day we left! We loved that it felt a bit out of the way even though so central, but might not suit everyone.

Total nitpicking here, but a moderate smell of something like mothballs in the room, unsure whether this is a cleaning product or insect repellent? Can still smell on our clothes even now we are home! Would be great to have a water dispenser on-site for refilling bottles :)

It was not clear in advance that the property can only be reached by motorbike. It was a bit of a wait for the bike and then a wild ride up to the property. It would not be good for someone of limited fitness level. We were fine with it but it would have been nice to know ahead of time what we were in for.

Exceptional - highly recommended. Beautiful location and wonderful staff

We absolutely loved our stay at Lasamana. We chose this place because of the reviews and booking.com and could not have been happier. The location is simply beautiful, just far enough away from the Ubud madness but close enough to walk to restaurants and bars. We loved the room and private plunge pool. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. They particularly helped us on our last day when we had problems communicating with our pre-booked taxi. We stayed 8 nights which was the perfect amount of time for us. We did see a lot of couples zooming in for 1-2 night stays. If you can stay longer I would recommend it. Getting to Ubud is hassle with all of the traffic etc, so I personally think you need to make it worth you while and take time to soak up the place. We would 100% stay here again. They are in the process of building 2 x more villas which I think will be a little larger - but our studio villa size was perfectly fine for us.

Bliss!

The team were so welcoming and picked us up on scooters with all of our large luggage and were happy to give us a ride to wherever we needed to go. The reception organised a cooking class for my stepmom who had the best day ever. The villas were so beautiful, the pool nice and loved the outdoor bathroom. The team there work so hard! The location is AMAZING, in the rice paddies and gorgeous views from the vila. 10/10!

Great Location, but too expensive for what is being offered.

Overall looking at previous reviews we expected more. The place is nice and the staff is incredibly friendly! Unfortunately for 100 eur a night we had construction next to our villa (you usually go to ubud to escape noise), which even after telling us that it will be stopped, continued. The TV is very old, the villa is not 120 square meters as advertised (more like 60) and we expected a lot more from the breakfast. The area is beautiful though - you are right next to the rice fields and will be in ubud centre within minutes since staff takes you by scooter. For a lower price, this would have been great, but we expected a lot more for over 100 euro / night.

Extremely noisy when trying to sleep- woken up around 4:30-5am everyday by the staff cleaning and phones ringing when staying in the first villa. Could also hear everything our neighbours were saying, one of the worst night sleep in a hotel I’ve had Pick up service is a motorbike so we would have had to wait for four trips on the bike to take luggage and two people to the hotel so we ended up waiting for the luggage to go and walking to the hotel because it added so much time onto our journey We were quoted 2 million for a taxi and ferry over to the Nusa islands by their customer service advisor for a trip that only cost us 600k booking separately so I think they can over charge on excursions if booked through the hotel Not much sun at the pool past 10am

What else can I say, our stay was perfection!

Great location, only a short drive or even walk from the centre, but still in a peaceful beautiful rice field which felt a million miles away from the craziness, it was so lovely to come back to. The Villa itself is a dream, perfectly romantic and cleaned every day for us. The staff and management… just wow! Mr Putu and his team did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful stay. From providing fresh coconuts (which were picked from trees by our private pool), to pick ups and drop offs into town, Mr Putu arranging a scooter for us to rent for our stay, and giving suggestions and arrangements for activities, just everything was so perfect. We would just like to thank Mr Putu and his beautifully friendly team for always welcoming us with a wide smile and lovely words, whether it was 8am or midnight! Thank you so much guys!

We loved our 4 night stay at Lasamana Villas - we stayed in villa 4 which seems to get more sun on the pool area from late morning because of its position. The room itself is great, the bed is big and comfortable. The staff are all lovely and friendly. Previous reviews about the staff questioning where you are going are a bit unfair - they are either genuinely interested or want to know whether they can take you there or help in any way.

We loved everything about our stay but just some things to note if you are staying here: - We chose villa 4 due to previous reviews about noise from reception and the kitchen. However they are now building 3 new villas next to villa 4 so there is noise from building work during the daytime. It didn’t bother us too much as we were out most days. - The villa is quite dark even with maximal lighting on - would recommend travel mirror with a light for makeup etc. The only negative at the end of our stay was due to a taxi transfer booked by the villas not showing up to take us to Canggu. Unfortunately this wasn’t communicated by the staff and they kept saying he was running late. We left Ubud 1.5 hours later than planned after they found another taxi driver in downtown ubud (we only found this out from the driver on our journey). We would rather that they had been honest from the beginning so that we could have booked a grab/gojek to avoid delays.

Staff are fabulous, Villa very comfortable, as was the bed. Spacious, modern and clean. Though Villa faces south (overlooking rice field and the busiest of ducks) there was still sun in pool area. Close proximity and easy walk or ride into Ubud centre. Their new restaurant was only completed the day we were leaving but will have to try during our next stay. Cars can not access property so pick up is 3 min away by staff on scooters for us and luggage and was managed without incident.

Door to bathroom in Villa 3 needs fixing. Noisy to open and close. Our fault for not highlighting during stay as I’m sure that would have been addressed promptly by staff if we had of mentioned.

Most amazing, friendly and helpful staff with beautiful villas!

Stunning properties with a beautiful view over the rice fields away from the busy streets of Ubud but still only a short walk away from everything you need. Putu and his team was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help us. Always on hand to give us whatever we need. My husband fell ill when we were there and they arranged a doctor and regularly checked in to see how he was doing. We didn’t want to leave! 100% will be back to stay here again.

Over priced! Even at the discounted price, I don’t believe it’s good value for money. Limited privacy. Villa 01 is next to reception area, it’s noisy at certain times of the day, including early morning. I suggest not staying in Villa 01. Food was average.
