Close to Ubud enough to walk yet far enough to be immersed in the nature of rice fields. The location is magical, so are the fireflies at night, sounds of frogs, lovely staff, private pool, the air conditioning, comfortable bed and the rice field surrounding.
The property is walkable or accessible by a motorbike only. This means that you need to communicate with the staff to be picked up from 3 locations in Ubud. Sometimes it’s not easy to get staff to respond at night when you want a ride. May not be suitable for elderly.

A beautiful stay, peaceful - far enough away from the noise of Ubud but just close enough to be walkable. A real treat this time was observing the fireflies at night in the rice fields from our villa

The villa was clean and bed was comfortable.
Access to the property is only via a walking path, which can be reached by scooter or on foot. This was not clearly indicated at the time of booking and made our stay difficult with a baby. We had to walk about 15 minutes to reach the city centre before we could get a taxi. It may not sound like much, but it’s quite uncomfortable in the heat.Additionally, the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear everything outside, which gets very loud at night. The hot water also stopped working a couple of times during our stay.
Lastly, we never saw the "free afternoon tea" and were never told where to get it.
