Great place with super convenient location.

This place is in a very convenient location, with a grocery store across the street and less than 10 minutes walking from the ski lifts.

There was nothing we did not like, but if I had to nitpick, the beds could be a bit more comfortable.

Great value. Very cozy apartment.

Very clean. It had everything needed for two people. Most essential items were in the kitchen. (Could use an egg flipper 😀) Grocery store and bus stop only 100m.

The checkin dropdown menu did not work on my iPhone 16, requiring email correspondence to proceed. The communication with receptionist could improve.

Comfortable chalet in pretty Kitzbuhel

Comfortable traditional chalet with nice sized rooms and very comfortable bed. Warm welcome from Denise, who was kind and helpful when I was unwell. Good location, bus stop in front of chalet, 10 minute walk to ski lifts, 3 minute walk to centre of pretty town with cafés etc.

Nothing to dislike. Optional breakfast of cereal and bread rolls with spreads very convenient.

Exceptional

Gastehaus Johanna was charming, very clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved the easy access to town, to a grocery store and restaurants, and to the ski bus and cable cars to the mountains. All very walkable. We signed up for the breakfasts each day: bread, cereals, yogurt, assorted beverages - very easy and tasty. We loved playing cards in the breakfast rooms in the evenings and having tea or hot chocolate. I would highly recommend this place!

My hubby is quite tall, and had to sleep carefully to get the duvet to cover all of him. The room is very nice, comfortable, clean, and charming, but on the small side. Bathroom has a gable that requires ducking when using the toilet. These seemed like small issues to us, but wanted to mention the full story.

Fantastic location (5 mins walk from Hahnenkamm lift), very clean, with good facilities. Coffee machine was great - accessible throughout the day. Friendly staff.

Breakfast can be improved with meats/cheeses, etc.

Right in dowtown Kitzbühel made getting to the lift easy and restaurants. Staff was super nice.

Shower was tiny and wifi for whatever reason didn’t work in the room so we would have to go downstairs to make calls or download anything.

This was just great - Auf Wiedesehen!

We had a great stay at Gästehaus Johanna. At the airport in Oslo I received a call where we were welcomed and we made clarifications on arrival, etc. The great first impression was only strengthened during our stay - a nice and clean apartment, really friendly staff (I prefer to call her Johanna:-)) and a cozy atmosphere. Those that comment on the breakfast - there is no point in comparing this to a 4/5 star hotel breakfast. You get a good, but plain breakfast with good value for money. Just to make the stay perfect - Johanna welcomed us to have a shower and clean towels after check-out and a long day in the slopes before returning home.

The ideal ski holiday destination

Everything was utterly perfect with the accommodation. Starting from the in-front-of-the guesthouse bus stop, excellent reception desk experience, a lot of valuable information, a convenient room which has everything that one needs for a proper ski holiday. Great solution for storing the ski luggage and excellent organisation for using the last day of the stay completely. The Hahnenkamm chair lift is just one bus stop away, so it is a perfect hassle free option.

There is absolutely nothing that I could pick out as a serious thing that this accommodation is missing. The only thing that comes to mind is that the buses from Hahnenkamm to the guesthouse go around the whole Kitzbühel before they arrive in front of the guesthouse (it might be just the case with the ski buses).

the location was perfect to walk to all the sights and restaurants and cable cars. We stayed in the apt. It was roomy and gave us plenty of space to reorganize as we were I/2 way on our trip around Austria. The coffee maker in the common room was awesome!! The Hostess was friendly, helpful and check in was flawless!
