Comfy, cosy & clean!

The overall vibe was lovely & very traditional alpine feel. The lounge area was so cosy both in the morning & after a long day skiing. It was lovely to sit in there and play cards with a drink before dinner. The breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choice. Beds were super comfortable. We also loved the family history element as there are lots of photos/trophies on display linked to the owner’s father who was a famous Austrian skier!

It would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities or bottles of water in the room, but not a huge deal as you can get these from downstairs and bring them up if needs be. The walk up to the property is quite steep which was fine for us, but I would be prepared to carry my skis up from the gondola as limited snow at ground level prevented us from skiing down to the hotel from the peak.

Going back again. The owners were one of the most helpful and friendly people in the world.

The owners treated us like locals and very friendly and helpful. We felt like part of the family. The view was as advertised, the hertiage and history of the place was fully on displayed. The staff was friendly. The ski room was very well facilitated, every equipement was dry the next day. Even though the bathrooms were abit outdated, it was maintained well and decorated nicely that makes you enjoy the old style. The rooms were exceptional with plenty of spaces and heating.

Nice quite lodgings with friendly staff

All was good. Location was good and could ski in/out. Breakfast was typical European breakfast, however they do serve eggs cooked to order. Kitchen staff, front desk, and owner were very accommodating. This property is dedicated to the Hinterseer family, Olympic medal winner Ernst and Bundesliga footballer Lukas.

Did not have a car and walk to town was up/down a large hill. Thought the trip was too short for taxi.

What a lovely place! Pension Hinterseer is in a top location — quiet, yet just a short walk from the center of Kitzbühel. You can really feel the love and care in all the little details throughout the house. Our room was comfortable and beautifully kept, with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And the garden — absolutely wonderful! Having breakfast outside in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers and mountain views, was a real treat. It felt like a little celebration every morning. I would definitely stay here again!

All in all it was a great stay and we enjoyed very much!

Breakfast was excellent, very tasty and good portions. The location is not exactly ski in ski out, but very close to it. Location is a few hundred meters uphill.

It was unclear how the staff can be reached, there is no internal hotel phone to the reception. The hotel WIFI was also a little sketchy and stopped working often for a few minutes until it returned.

Verlebt und unpersönlich ausgestattet. Ich dachte in ginge in ei Zimmer, an dem seit den 70ger Jahren kaum etwas gemacht worden war. Stil und Möbel, Bad ungemütlich. Dusche in alter Badewanne und der Wassermischhahn kaum zu bewegen - musste beide Hände brauchen, um den Hebel zu bewegen.

Bester Service verbunden mit beeindruckender Herzlichkeit. Darüber hinaus gab es das beste Frühstucksbuffet, das ich je hatte. Für mich würde an meinem Abreisetag das Frühstück bereits eine halbe Stunde früher ermöglicht, damit ich rechtzeitig zum Bahnhof gelangen könnte. Besten Dank an Frau Hinterseer und Eva👍👍👍👍👍
