Solid city mountain resort in the hear of Kitz

I have truly enjoyed our pre-Christmas stay at the Kitzhof, especially as we got a junior suite upgrade which was great and spacious room with a nice view. Great quality of sleep and very attentive and friendly staff from concierge to reception to bar and breakfast. The offering at breakfast was also one of the best I have seen around luxury Alpine resorts and I travel about 90+ days a Year so for me to say that means something.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Kitzhof, and it didn’t disappoint. The location is spot-on—close to the city and the slopes, with a quick shuttle, always available when you need, to the cable cars. The staff are sharp and professional, and the rooms are well-designed, quiet, and comfortable. The spa is top-notch, and the breakfast is solid—plenty of quality options to fuel the day. The bar lounge has a great, laid-back vibe and is a perfect spot to wind down. The entire place is kept in excellent shape, which speaks to the hotel’s high standards. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

Overall OK place but way overpriced

Nice breakfast with broad selection (except the veggies) Comfortable in-door parking (though would have expected it to be included into an EUR400/night price) Shuttle service available to the ski-lift

Price to value is hugely disconnected. For EUR 400/night one would have expected some extra touch, both in service and in property quality. On the contrary, it felt as a big mass hotel which does have reasonable quality but nothing extra (if compared to services in this category): - no personalisation, no kind service (eg. at breakfast) if one is not visibly rich (i.e. not in designer clothes) - no flexibility to resolve any special requests (e.g. early check-in requested by latest 1400, could not grant it b/c official is 1500, despite rooms are vacated from 1100). - some amenities missing, ie cups in the Sauna - some of the service staff is also pushed for the rushed mass service - e.g. one of the shuttle service drivers was unkind, luggages from our packing trolley were put on the pavement while packing into the car b/c the trolley was needed elsewhere - small room, very hot, lack of proper temperature control

Nothing. Taxi/shuttle back to Munich was 350 Euro - one way! Ridiculous. Only downside of the trip.

Superb

Breakfast: Superb buffet. Pastries were not as good as everything else on the buffet Dinner: outside on the terrace was beautiful. Food very good. Spa: Excellent massage with Oliver. Spa area was comfortable and not over run even though it was raining on the second day. Outside on the first day was very pleasant on the lawn and terrace by the indoor pool. Room: extremely comfortable and quiet. Staff: Everyone we came into contact with was happy and very friendly.

Amazing hotel. The town isn’t quite what we were looking for though.

Breakfast was amazing. Beds were comfy and the sauna area was lovely. The free shuttle to the ski lift was great.

The pillows were too flat. Kitzbuhel itself is pretty boring. I don’t know where everyone on the slopes goes in the evening. Town was dead except for a couple of the restaurants.

Amazing service, great location, really nice hotel!

Only thing I didn’t like is they had no shades for the roof windows in the Superior room, so it is imposible for me to sleep there. But they quickly changed us to another room, so no complains from my side
