Die Lage ist gut. Das Frühstück ist auch in Ordnung. Das Flair würde passen.

Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Die vielen Spinnweben gehören wohl zum Ambiente. Das Zimmer war zudem klamm und muffig. Die Bäder sind mehr als in die Jahre gekommen…

Nicht zu empfehlen

Die Lage ist ausgesprochen gut und unser Zimmer hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf den wilden Kaiser.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr heruntergekommen und macht einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Das Frühstück war sehr einfallslos und nicht gerade qualitativ. Das erste Zimmer, das uns angeboten wurde war eine ungepflegte Dachkammer mit modrigem Geruch. Erst auf unseren Einspruch wurde uns in einem total leeren Nebenhaus ein Ersatzzimmer angeboten.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben für eine Nacht im Schloss gewohnt. Tolles Ambiente - ein wenig "rustikal", ganz liebevoll eingerichtet. Freundliches Personal. Lecker Frühstück.

Das Ambiente im Haupthaus war gut, sehr altertümlich. Ganz nette Außenanlage.

Das kulinarische Angebot war leider nicht das, was man von Österreich gewohnt ist. Frühstück sehr wenig Auswahl, Abendessen nur ein Menü statt Auswahl trotz der Bezeichnung Restaurant. Preis Leistungsverhältnis Abendessen schlecht. Die ganzen Optionen/Aktivitäten sind nicht im Hotel.

Essen gut - Zimmer im Dachgeschoss lässt zu wünschen übrig

Nettes und sehr bemühtes Personal - gutes Frühstück, schöner Pool, Abendessen (Menü) sehr gut!

Zur Verfügung gestelltes Zimmer unterm Dach sehr schmutzig, Bade- bzw. Duschmöglichkeit aufgrund der beengten Verhältnisse im Bad bei meiner Körpergröße von 185 cm nahezu unmöglich. Spinnweben in jeder Nische des Zimmers.

Dreckstall

Das alte Haus im Katalog, aber nicht der Realität entsprechend

Das Hotel war ein Dreckstall inklusive tote Käfer in den Betten, schwarzen Bettlaken und zudecken sowie schwarze dreckige Handtücher. Auf den Fensterbrettern lagen tote Tiere. Auf der Toilette am Rand alte Ablagerung. Ich habe mir übrigens sechs Zimmer angeschaut. Zwei davon die für mich in Frage kamen sagen so aus wie beschrieben.

Das Schloss Münichau

Die Schlossbesitzerin war wirklich nett und ihr Abendessen war spitze alles was ihr Garten so hergab zauberte sie ein 4 Gänge Menü. Das war leider das einzigute von unserem Aufenthalt.

Das Zimmer war schmutzig die Einrichtung war eine Mischung aus rustikal und Sperrmüll. Weder Seife noch Zahnputzbecher waren vorhanden das Badezimmer war auch verschmutzt und ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war nicht so ansprechend auch dort war es leider nicht sauber die Tischdecken hatten Löcher und waren verschmutzt. Was schade ist das dass Restaurant nur von 18.00 Uhr bis 20.00 Uhr geöffnet hat . Zudem bereits bezahltem Zimmerpreis wurde noch zusätzlich eine Portiertsgebühr von 10€ pro Tag in Rechnung gestellt !?

Rekomenduje aby firma Booking zastanowiła sie czy warto mieć w ofercie taki słaby obiekt. Szkoda ze takie miejsca są na mapie hoteli w Austrii bo psują bardzo dobra opinie o ofercie noclegowej całemu regionowi.

Unhygienische Zustände

Historisches Schloss mit schönem Garten. Das Anwesen hat viel potenzial, dass leider nicht richtig genutzt wird.

Unser Zimmer gehörte zu denen die nicht modernisiert wurden. Das größte Problem war allerdings, dass es bei der Ankunft sehr dreckig war. Überall waren Spinnweben, die Oberflächen waren staubig, das Wasser in der Toilette braun und es waren einige tote Insekten in unserm Badezimmer. Halbpension ist nicht zu empfehlen, da es nur ein festes Menü pro Abend gibt. In meiner Suppe befand sich auch noch eine tote Ameise, was nach alledem an dem hygienischen Zustand der Küche zu zweifeln gibt. Beim Frühstück wurden alte trockene Brötchen unter die frischen gemischt. Wir können keine Empfehlung aussprechen und werden diese Unterkunft nicht mehr Buchen.

Nicht empfehlenswert – dringend renovierungsbedürftig und ungepflegt Wir hatten eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück im Schloss Münichau gebucht und wurden leider enttäuscht. Bereits beim Betreten des Zimmers fiel der schlechte Zustand auf. Die Einrichtung war alt, abgewohnt und in weiten Teilen beschädigt. Überall Staub, Schmutz, Spinnweben – von gepflegt kann keine Rede sein. Das gesamte Objekt wirkt, als wäre es seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr wirklich renoviert oder gründlich gereinigt worden. Das Badezimmer war besonders schlimm: gerissene Fliesen, ausgebrochene Fugen, vergilbte Silikonränder, schadhafte Duschabtrennung, eine rissige Badewanne und offensichtliche Feuchtigkeitsschäden. Die Beleuchtung war notdürftig installiert, teilweise lose. Der Spiegelrahmen war abgeplatzt und speckig. Auch die sanitären Anlagen (WC, Waschbecken) machten einen unhygienischen Eindruck. Im ganzen Haus zeigt sich das gleiche Bild: Die Möbel sind beschädigt oder stark abgenutzt, die Teppiche riechen muffig, Lampen hängen schief oder sind notdürftig repariert, Steckdosen teils lose. Der Gesamteindruck ist eher „Gruselkabinett“ als charmantes Schlossambiente. Wer hier historisches Flair sucht, findet stattdessen Vernachlässigung und Verfall.

Amazing!

This is an amazing place, close to Kitzbuehl. We travelled here with 2 kids aged below 6 and I must say that we all absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautiful and authentic, the staff and owners are attentive and great! It is a hidden gem, and we will for sure come back! For meals; the house restaurant is awesome and it serves proper Austrian house food, which is great after a long day in the mountains!

A fun and interesting place to stay for a fun weekend!

Fun, quirky, and friendly. The Schloss / Castle is really cool. We found the staff really friendly and helpful. The bed was SO comfortable. Our room in the annex had great views of the Wilder Kaiser. They offer a very good breakfast. Absolutely no complaints.
