Fabulous family run hotel in beautiful Kitzbuhel

Fantastic selection of food, fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful.

We thought the hotel and the staff were fantastic. It was excellent value for money. A great boot room with heated boot racks and secure lockers. There was also a decent gym and a sauna. The free afternoon tea was also lovely. Only thing we would improve was the quality of the pillows.

Fantastic

Great atmosphere - cozy and clean. Breakfast and afternoon snack were absolutely amazing. Fresh pasties, fruit, vegetables, shrimp, cakes. Location was convenient but make sure to get the shortcut before you arrive. Hosts were very friendly.

the hotel was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Service was excellent - the owners really tried to make us feel at home while staying at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the aftenoon snack after coming in from skiing. It was an easy walk to the lift and the ski storage room was well equipped.

The bathrooms were a bit small - not unexpected in a mountain town hotel.

Great hotel for lower to mid season

Very attentative owners / staff, very nice and renovated room, very good bathroom and shower, good sauna and very good breakfast

Owners and staff were almost overly attentative and service oriented - just a little too often asking if all okay, etc. Great hotel however, location to lift just too long with ski's and whilst sauna was great at low occupancy, I can imagine that at high occupancy it is simply too small and crowded

A perfect stop for 2 days

Klaus & Veronica were excellent hosts, Klaus was very helpful with the Glossglockner pass and my route to Lindau via the mountain pass at St. Anton.

First rate stay at highly convenient beautiful property

Das Edelweiss is truly a gem of a hotel. Very clean, absolute first rate breakfast and late afternoon snack. Next to train tracks but not noisy at all. The family who runs the property (Klaus & Victoria) are friendly, super professional and tend to your every need. You really don't need a car though the hotel does have parking. Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk that's delightful and very easy. The hotel itself has lovely, simple rooms that fulfill every need we had. Highly recommended for families, couples, skiers, cyclists and really anyone who wants to relax in Kitzbuhel.

Arrogant, pretentious and rude staff that made our stay feel akin to a probation centre rather than an expensive hotel. Rooms and corridors are drab, tasteless and outdated. We left early, despite having paid in advance.

Super place in kiztbuhel! I love it!!

Everything was perfect. Was quite, beautiful, the people who work there was very kind and marvelous. The breakfast and the “merienda” were great. I love all. The spa area was perfect to relax after a day of ski. You can go walking from the hotel, 4 minutes walking.

great location… both in the middle of the town (only 5 min walk) and also in the middle of nature (we woke up with birds every morning). Nicely decorated; not luxury but humbly elegant.

Honestly the best ski hotel I have ever stayed in. First class staff!

The breakfast was amazing, always fresh. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. Honesty would stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family. All the staff were so friendly. They all made sure they came to say goodbye as we left after breakfast.

An Excellent Hotel for a Ski Vacation

The breakfast was very good and the oatmeal was made perfectly. The dinners at the hotel were also classy and good alternatives for going out to eat. The location of the hotel was very good with 200+ meters to Kitzbuhel-Hahnenkamm train stop and at the same time to Hahnenkamm Bahn ski lift. I loved my small room in the attic with a balcony facing the mountain.

Warm hospitality and beautiful quiet setting near village center

This family run hotel provided top notch service and genuine hospitality. Location was walkable to gondola, train station, and the village center. The interior and exterior of the property were beautifully decorated and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the optional dinner service was convenient for staying in.

Relaxing break in a lovely hotel with a family feel

Friendly, well located with a personal rather than big hotel feel. The family were very welcoming and helpful and went the extra mile. Close to the town centre but you still felt in the countryside.

The artwork ranged from traditional Austrian (which we loved) but included too many mixed modern styles which could be pared back.
