Just lovely!

It was lovely to see Jouelles smiling face on reception on arrival There was a little market in the square And a lovely quaint cafe/ bar across the road that I highly recommend . If you have the time walk along the promenade to st Jean de cap… it’s such a beautiful walk.

Nice location and lots of nearby restaurants to choose from within literally two minutes walk.

Check in for a late arrival was easily managed with a key code Rooms are clean and turned down every day

In overall it was a pleasant stay, great staff, good breakfast. Good value for money considering the location.

Location was very pleasant, really not far from the seaside and various walks. On weekends you can enjoy local market on the square in front of the hotel.

You can really hear everything what’s going on in rooms next door and the corridor. I had economy room, which had windows towards indoor yard, so the ventilation was not as good.

A warm, classy, great value hotel with the ideal location.

I loved everything about my stay here. It really does have that traditional family-run feeling and I was made to feel so welcome yet the amenities were modern and tasteful. Breakfast was very generous with many options including ham and cheeses, crepes, fresh baguettes, granola with various toppings, boiled eggs, etc. The bed was super comfortable and the view over the quiet town square with its Saturday / Wednesday market and kids playing with their parents felt so, well, French. Equally great was the 3 minute walk to the train station that had me in places like Ventimiglia and Menton in 30 mins! I walked to the beautiful Ephrussi Villa close to Villefranche in 25 mins and the path by the ocean was stunning. Don’t hesitate to book.

A quaint hotel in Beaulieu sur Mer. It looks just like the photos Excellent location. Staff was very hospitable. The room and facilities were very clean. Soundproof windows. Big rooms

We had a delightful stay here and didn’t really want to leave!

Our host was so lovely, hospitable and helpful. The location was superb, we dined at local restaurants and got fresh fruit at the morning market. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom lovely.

We liked everything - the room was small, but that was a reflection of our budget!

This delightful small hotel is faultless. Our room, although very small, was comfortable for a two night stay. Had we stayed longer, I would have booked a larger room. The breakfast was excellent value for money, the location brilliant and the staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended if you are in this prey town.

I have a wonderful stay at Hotel Select. It is modest and quaint.

The location was excellent. It’s near the Beaulieu-sur-let train station as well as multiple bus stops. There a plenty of stores and restaurants very close by and there is also a large grocery store (Super U) about 2 blocks from the hotel. There are also ATM (BNP Paribas) across the small park adjacent to the hotel. The reception woman speaks French and English and she was extremely helpful with directions and recommendations.

Another lovely stay in Beaulieu sur Mer

My second or third time here - a lovely gem of a hotel! Staff are wonderful. Right on the main square which has a local market with fresh fruit and veg and surrounded by cafes, bakeries, pharmacy, etc. Beach is 10 min walking. Bus and train are 5min walking. Easy to get around the region. This time I stayed in the economy single room which was a tad small for me but it was the only room available when I booked. Bed was very comfortable and all basic amenities were provided.

Perfect for female solo travellers

I loved this town and hotel! It was small, but very charming and well decorated. I also liked that it had a small elevator to carry the luggage up and down. The staff were very kind. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, and I used the dining area after the breakfast time to work a little bit. The smell of bake goods others mentioned wasn't a problem for me, I even enjoyed it, lol. Just in front there's a daily market with fresh fruit, which I visited every day and the train is just 5-min away by walking to head to Nice or the nearby towns. There's nice beaches around. I would definitely come back!

The shower space is quite small and one can hit the walls at times, but that seems to be the standard in Europe, even at private homes... You can feel people talking from the dining area at early mornings, but I brought earplugs, so no prob.

We had a lovely room overlooking the square, it was very comfortable and really good breakfast. The hotel is close to the train, beach, restaurants and shopping and the staff are friendly and very welcoming.

Beaulieu GEM!

Super charming. Caring welcome. Location overlooking the beautiful square, with the relaxed ambience of cafe's and bars. So close to the train station, for easy (and fast) links to everywhere - honestly! 5/7 mins walk down to the bay area. Comfy room, great bathroom and nicely styled. Breakfast if you choose to have, is plentiful in the nice cosy breakfast area. Honestly, it's such a gem of a hotel. It has a happy feel. You wont regret it!

The breakfast was nice but we expected more variety. The elevator is for one person so you have to climb a lot(it is basically an elevator for the bags)

The location clean and good size room. Room was cleaned daily. Hot water and good shower location. Stayed on second floor. There are roadworks outside on the side street but this did not disadvantage our stay and the noise was minimal durning morning. Would stay again.

There was a kettle for coffee/tea facilities in the room, however the location in which it was place did not have an electric socket and therefore had to be moved to one and placed on the floor. An extension lead could be an option to solve this issue. Maybe suggest that the breakfast price is displayed on a website, but not expensive for a buffet at €11 per head.

Lovely small hotel, with stairs, but a small lift for luggage! Cute rooms with a nice view and personable staff. Great location with everything you need within a few steps! Close to good restaurants, a convenience store with long hours, and the train station, and the market is right out the front door!
