Hôtel La Fiancée du Pirate

Lovely view overlooking town. Gracious and helpful hostess. Beds were comfortable, facilities clean. Air conditioning is excellent in the rooms, but not used the rest of the dining/entry space. Pool is lovely. Hostess provided towels for the beach and directed us to a shared area for umbrellas and sand toys. Breakfast was a nice variety each day and excellent. Evening wine on the deck looking out over the city is lovely.

The building is older and both rooms had a light damp mildew smell. It is a steep 25 min walk down a series of stairs to reach the beach or town. Consider an uber (don’t drive, there is no parking) if your own athletic desires or the weather make the walk tough.

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter and we loved every part of it. The hotel was a lovely family hotel and very comfortable. There was also a nice swimming pool. Views of the sea were lovely too. We were made very welcome by Fabrice and Charlotte and we really could not fault their hospitality. So much nicer than a large impersonal hotel!

We couldn’t fault the property at all.

Good location, although a car is a must (however there is parking with a charge).

The aircon in the room is not great (we also travelled in September) so it wasn’t the middle of summer and still found it very warm. Giving a fan would help this.

Location by the road and parking just outside. We could bring our small dog.

Rather simple and very dated. Poor breakfast. Uncomfortable bed and with only a sheet as a cover.
