The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly made you feel very welcome.Food was very nice, good variety to choose from, same with breakfast always nice and hot. Bed very comfy too. Very close to train station which was great as we came on train and good location for shops.

There seemed to be a fan noise outside our window which was a bit annoying.

Murphy's is a brilliant place to stay in Killarney, the staff were amazing, very friendly, engaging & informative...the food was brilliant & the Guinness even better with live music there was a great vibe which really ties in with Killarney on the whole. Would recommend a great value for money stay here

Functional as a one-night stay after alighting from train

Proximity to railway station Price

No food served after 8:00 pm. Ventured down the road to find somewhere still serving food Room was too hot. Had to turn off radiators and open window to cool room down Opening window allowed in the racket of roosting pigeons in narrow gap between building

Once again a great stay at Murphy’s

After a great nights sleep the breakfast has a wide choice and plentiful too, you can ask for something to be left out and replaced with other things. Good hours to eat breakfast also. All the staff are incredible and so friendly, nothing is too much trouble, they truly make your stay unforgettable

Lovely pub and accommodation

The room was big, comfy, and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very yummy.

The room was a little outdated but wasn't an issue. There was a loud industrial unit (maybe for the kitchen) outside our bedroom window which meant that we didn't end up sleeping well. The front desk told us it would be shut off after kitchen closes but it never was.

Exceptional place to stay in Killarney

We were well taken care of by the lovely, friendly Fiona and her staff when we stayed for two nights. The breakfast and the bar food are excellent as is the Guinness. The accommodation is cosy and clean and the premises is ideally located in the town for the train and exploring the other pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Killarney.

Great Location in Killarney

The staff in the hotel and pub were all wonderful. The location was perfect. Breakfast was very good. The pub was cozy and friendly. Room was very clean, and large for 2 people.

Only negative was the shower, which was small and uncomfortable for a 200 pound man. The shower pan had raised ridges to facilitate water flow, and both of us felt they were uncomfortable to stand on.

It’s a bit loud staying above a bar with live music. Fortunately the music stopped promptly at 11pm.

The location was spot on .. it's where all the great bars are. The hotel room was a bit pricey but I presume it's because of the location.. It was very comfortable and spotless clean.. public car park just down to the left of it and a taxi rank

Great spot to stay

Great people and a fantastic location. My only problem was that the room was pretty stuffy with no air flow. Still was a great experience though and all of the staff were super helpful
