Enjoyable short family break

Staff were friendly. The rate for room only was very reasonable for a hotel with a swimming pool. The swimming pool is small but was not busy and was right beside our bedroom. Nice sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. There was music in the bar at night and the food and drink from the bar were good quality

Value for money , very enjoyable stay

Bedroom spacious, clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good , buffet style and plenty of variety. The man ( sorry I didn't get his name ) in the bar was very professional and very attentive . Walking distance to killarney town

Love this hotel

The overall updated room renovations are beautiful. Beds super comfortable and the rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. My favourite place to stay when staying in Killarney

I would recommend this Hotel

The superior family room was lovely with a separate bedroom for privacy. There was 8 of us and we had food in the bar and we all enjoyed it. The buffet breakfast was also lovely. There was music in the bar and the children could stay there also.

Unfortunately we had the pool booked and as we were about to go we got a call to say that it had to be closed. I don't blame the hotel for this but we had 5 very disappointed children.

One night stay as a couple, clean and comfortable, bar very nice atmosphere although didn’t try the food

Very close walking distance to everything, had a gig in the INEC gleneagle and was only a short walk there and back, close to Killarney town too

Disappointed, won't return.

Beds were clean. Very basic accommodation. Fine for a stag or hen group.

Bathrooms dated and shower curtain used correctly still allowed for water to spray everywhere. Kids were see crying in the bar after 11.30pm. There were 5 guests in the room next door, returned to their room at 2am and then stayed up talking very loudly to each other until 5.30am. Breakfast was very basic.

Nice place for a family stay

Nice separate bedrooms in an apartment-style accommodation. It was clean and tidy and within walking distance to food outlets pubs. It was large. Nice bathroom.

Pool was small but very nice, spotlessly clean, and everything one would need to enjoy the facility, steam room, jacuuzi, sauna. Food in the Bar was good and very efficient staff.

Mickey Mouse opertion

The room was clean and parking was adequate.

In the middle of the night, I was woken by the sound of the person in the room next to me snoring, as there was a mere door separating our two rooms. I booked into this hotel due to the gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room facilities. The gym I did not even bother using as there are no free weights, and is comprised of little more than a bench and a treadmill. Upon check in I was told I had to book in a time to use the pool to ensure it was free. This was not mentioned anywhere when I booked the room. I booked my time and went to the pool, to find very shortly after I arrived the lifeguard's three children had arrived to the pool, with her partner in tow. The children (ranging in ages 8-16) argued loudly, splashed at one another, dived into the pool repeatedly, play fought, shouted, screamed, were in the jacuzzi and steam room, while Mum was sat chatting to her partner flirting, as he leaned over the counter talking to her and she rubbed his face. He eventually then got into the pool also, and used the sauna. Mum then joined him whilst in her work capacity and left all of the children unsupervised, which was very concerning in terms of safety and professionally, as it was very, very uncomfortable being in the pool area with their behaviour and there was nobody to report this to. I eventaully left, feeling very frustrated as I had stayed here solely for the pool and the unruly, unsupervised children had removed any relaxation from the area. I called 2 days after, at the end of my holiday and spoke to a manager about this who interrupted me and spoke over the top of me, when I tried to answer the question that she had just asked me. She spoke to her supervisor and came back to me confirming that she could see the childrens behaviour was unacceptable but that pool was full of kids all summer and that was what kids do, they make noise so I would not have been assured peace anyway, even if those 3 children were unsupervised. Looked good in the pictures, was dissapointed.

Nice location - could walk to the Killarney centre, some restaurants or bars. Kids had fun due to swimming pool. Pub at a hotel - sometimes with life music. Spacious parking.

Wasn't clean - cobwebs in the corners, in the window; doubt anyone vacuums carpets (are everywhere); had doubts about cleaningness of the bathroom, some towels were dirty before use. Dated interiors - I do not know if all the rooms are the same, but in ours furniture and bathroom remembered '90s. Updated lobby looks great, then you get to the room... Our room was on a ground floor next to the sidewalk and emergency exit (used regularly by staff and guests) and the windows only had blackout curtains, no other option to get privacy. No AC and really warm as for Ireland. A breakfast wasn't in the price, which was fortunate - one time was enough - poor choice, some stuff uneatable, we went elswhere.

Not worth the money

The room was pretty spacious and clean. That's all.

The room had an interior door to the adjacent room through which conversation noise from the other room was coming in. Also, the interior walls appeared to be too thin or porous, as a lot of noise from other rooms and other bathrooms including flushing sound was coming in. And throughout the night, a slight but irritating noise of a machine, apparently a laundry was coming from somewhere downstairs, on both the nights of our stay. The room does not provide a mini fridge or a basic cupboard to keep belongings. You need to adjust with the wardrobe and a long desk. And most important, there was only one single power plug to charge your devices in our room fit to accommodate 4 family members, which is unacceptable for the price charged. So basically it is not at all worth the money charged.

Location was great and parking is free on property! Hotel is a little dated. The pool and hot tub was clean. Lots of rules and regulation for the pool and hot tub, lady was rude that worked at the desk at the pool, kind of took away from the fun. The family room was huge… rooms could use an update. Air conditioning was terrible but they had fans that we were able to get from the front desk free of charge so that helped. Walking distance to the city center with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We had breakfast included in our stay which was nice. Breakfast was average and staff was friendly.

Given 2 bedroom family room. Spacious, bright, comfortable, view out front of hotel. Very quiet, no disturbances. Very friendly helpful staff. Plenty parking. Near town.
