Lovely stay close to Killarney national park

Close to the center, the bed was so large and comfy!! The room was very clean and the host were kind and helpful.

There could have been placed a kettle with courtesy tea and coffee. Even if tea and coffee are freely displayed in the hall downstairs for the guests, during winter time it’s hard to go down at night to make a cuppa!

Will never go back nor recommend.

The host kept us waiting in the cold before she finally decided to open the door. Not a great welcome. The room was very cold as she only turned on the heating when we arrived. Then it was off at night with zero and below zero degrees outside.

No explanation of what is available and where to find things like hair dryer was hidden under the TV. The room temperature wasn't acceptable. The blanket was heavy and very old. One of the table lamps didn't work.

Cheap but not a cheerful stay

It was close to city centre . Showers were roasting and had great power.

Breakfast was not included after booking. Room was cold on arrival. Arrived at 1500 on Friday and had a hand towel and shower towel given on arrival and checked out 11 on Sunday with same towel for shower. Left keys behind me. Management were good enough to inform me which was grateful for but told me to organise for them to be collected and refused to post out. Cheap but not cheerful stay. No glass in room even nor a cup of tea to be got and this is adverted as B B

Abbey Lodge was a great find and good value in Killarney.

It was the perfect location for our weekend. The staff were very welcoming. It was great to have on site parking. The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet. Great shower!

The pillows were a bit hard. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable. The room was too warm, but ince we figured out the heater it was better.

It was a good location for the town and the Gleneagle hotel. The breakfast was extra money but was good quality. Excellent powerful shower.

It is a bit expensive for a bedroom. The room is fine but basic. For the price I would expect a few extras in the room such as bottled water and tea coffee facilities ( there are some centrally located).

Fantastic Abbey Lodge

Excellent location for the town centre with shops and restaurants very nearby. Rooms were excellent and they kindly let us keep all our cases there until the evening when we were being picked up. We would have no hesitation of booking again if in the area.

A wonderful stay in a cozy, classy accommodation.

A wonderful stay in an absolutely superb accommodation. Big, spacious, clean rooms, impeccable modern facilities, excellent WiFi. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is top notch, a stone's throw both from the city centre with all the cafes and shops if you need anything and from the National Park (the route to Ross Castle is just across the road, and it's a short walk down past River Flesk to go deeper in the woods and investigate Macross Abbey and cemetery). We had a really great time, and will be looking forward to secure future bookings at Abbey Lodge. Also I suspect the building itself is a renovated Victorian mansion, which adds a lot to the charm.

Tea and coffee amenities as well as drinking water are located downstairs and not in the rooms, which is a little unusual (and something to keep in mind for lovers of long hikes such as ourselves when all you want upon return is to get out of your hiking boots ASAP). However, you can always just stay and have tea downstairs in the comfy common area, so not a disadvantage by any means.

Good location and friendly staff — a comfortable, straightforward B&B experience.

The property is in a great location, close to the town centre and easy to access. The building itself is quite charming, with rooms that are a comfortable size and nicely furnished. The bathroom was fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Parking can be a bit tight as it’s in the backyard of a historic building, but it’s manageable. Overall, a decent and comfortable stay, just nothing particularly special.

Cozy place with authentic Irish charm. Great location for getting day tours to Dingle and Ring of Kerry. Quiet at night for getting sleep after busy days.

Abby Lodge has an ideal location in Killarney.

This is a great place to stay with it's proximity to town and the National Forest. The room was comfortable and the staff was accomodating.

The parking area is small and the gravel coming in is tricky with luggage. There really isn't any thing else to say, it's a very nice place

So quaint and perfect for a girls' trip to Ireland! Location was great just an 8 minute walk to the main street. I'd recommend this space to others! Tea and coffee spot was nice.

Parking was tight but that's typical. Just note that if you have a bigger vehicle. Rooms are definitely dated but that's part of the draw...it's no frills!

This had a lot of character, the bed was comfortable and there was on site parking. We paid the extra for breakfast and this was good. Felt for the price, breakfast could have been included. The location was handy for walking around Killarney.

Property was difficult to access, as front door was locked and no-one was at reception desk or in sight, we entered from the car park rear door Once inside we eventually found someone who was pleasant and checked us into our rooms Property was lovely and in a nice location but a reasonable walk to the town centre and any conveniences
