Great room, great breakfast

room was great - it had a jacuzzi bathtub. I want this room next time. First time I was there I only had a more standard room which was also good - given the location.

Nothing i didn´t like - maybe a bigger car park. And maybe also ability to add breakfast to the booking. for some reason I couldn´t do that after i booked the room, and I had to pay for it on the day. I think that is more of a booking,com issue though

Excellent Location!

The central location is excellent, loved being so central in town. The parking at the back of hotel was also nice to have. The staff were all very friendly. We were staying for a few days so appreciated getting a nice size room. Would definitely stay again.

Holiday stay at the Eviston House Hotel

The Evanston House hotel is conveniently located right in the center of town. If you want to be near everything this is the place to stay. However, if you were staying on a holiday, you may have to deal with some noise from the streets. I booked my stay here because of its proximity to the bus station and unfortunately that was over Halloween night. At 3:00 in the morning I was awakened with sounds of fireworks and yelling from street level. Other than that, my stay there was pleasant and the restaurant was very nice!

The distance to the rooms was like traveling through a maze! I couldn't believe how far the room seemed from the reception desk!

The noise from a band , I was in bed early to be woken at 11pm by this music , there was no insulation on the outside wall of the room , night porter explained he could do nothing it was from another property

Great location, offering good value for money

Hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of the town. The breakfast was to a high standard with good quality ingredients. Good value for money relative to other accommodation options in the town.

It as a small bit noisy at night but that was not the fault of the hotel.

The bathroom wasn’t clean, we found the toilet wasn’t clean, there was toilet paper in the sink, which wasn’t cleaned either, and a sock in bedroom area near the radiator

A lovely accomodation. Huge shoutout to the bar staff.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to everywhere. Dinner was lovely and we spent many hours in the bar and playing darts. Huge shoutout to the bar staff and the dad and daughter duo who provided the entertainment on our first night.

The carpark was very small and didn't accomodate all patrons

Really comfortable, clean, well-located with great staff.

Breakfast was always good, nourishing and plentiful. Staff were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast room was clean, spacious and easy to get to in the hotel with good hours.

Although the hotel is non-smoking, there were two separate incidents of cigarette smoke in the hallways, which i reported to the front desk. Everything else was great.

Overpriced for experience

Music from a nightclub opposite hotel could be heard until after 3am making it a very difficult nights sleep. Understandable it is a town known for excellent nightlife however I feel like this earplugs should be provided in the room or should be advised with the possibility of having a room in a quieter part of the hotel, especially as it was €190 for the room for one night without breakfast. Housekeeping were very load early in the morning which was not welcomed after a difficult sleep. Also no water in the room, the tv and lamps in the room would not work and the duvet on the bed was very thin.

" What a Pleasure in Town Centre"

Delighted to return to Eviston Hotel in the heart of Killarney. Few mins walk from the public car park. Receptionist was welcoming. My lovely spacious room was so relaxing with comfortable bed . The room had everything to make my stay a pleasure.. Thank you to all the Team.

Excellent location and comfortable room

Parking wasn’t a problem in the pay lot close by but the hotels lot is very small and you won’t get a spot. The pay lot only charges from 8:30 am - 6 pm. So free at night.

Good central location near shops and restaurants.

The Eviston is in an excellent location close to many restaurants, pubs and shops. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We parked in the public carpark in Beech St (around the corner from the Eviston). Parking is free between 6pm and 8am, so if you arrive at 5pm and leave at 9am, you only pay for two hours. This means a 100-200m walk with your cases.

We did not pre-book breakfast, but at check-in they said we could still show up in the morning and get breakfast for €11.95pp. We decided this was good value, so went into their restaurant for breakfast. Looking at the menu, the price showed €13.95pp. The waitress gave us stony silence when we queried the price. At check-out we were charged €13.95pp, which we queried immediately, but lost that argument. While we were still standing there waiting for friends, someone else had the same issue, and they were granted the cheaper price. Not Happy!

Birthday treat

Fantastic location hotel room was big and clean and very quite . Great having the bar down stairs after a long walk in the national park could just sit and chill. We ate at the bar which was delicious and extremely filling .

You know, I liked the young woman who got involved and solved our problem and gave us a bonus as USA

good location, nice bar, a few bartenders and only one waitress, Irish girls, was very professional, we ate a lot of chicken wings, and she gave us a bowl of water and a slice of lemon to wash our fingers after we used our hands to eat the wings, the room had everything we needed, a hairdryer, a washing machine with an ironing board, a safe. A housecleaner was nice and gave me towels on the penultimate day because I didn't ask for cleaning service to change the towels, in the hallway I found a jug with decaffeinated coffee and sugar, like in the USA. The breckfast was verry good.

A young blonde Ukrainian girl was rude saying that the sockets don't work, you can put a phone on charge in the bar and restaurant, when we arrived very tired they didn't give us a room at 11am or 12noon as they wrote in the email to be at the hotel between 11am and 12noon. I saw that there were many customers with suitcases for check-in, for them the older blonde manager from Ukraine, they quickly gave them rooms, or I saw that the male manager took a customer and took him through the door at the back of the hotel which has an elevator.... I was frustrated and asked for explanations, they said to wait until 4pm when I would be given a room, at 4pm the receptionist changed and my son and I who had separate rooms paid me more than 700 pounds, she said that we had to wait because the rooms were not cleaned, I cried and said why didn't she tell me in the morning to go and my son and I We were looking for another hotel, they gave us until 4pm to accept their conditions, it was very ugly but I understood the discrimination and Ukrainians who speak Romanian don't like Romanians people and I am disable I use a walking stick.. so we finally got the rooms and the young lady gave us free breakfast after this incident.
