The staff were very friendly and accommodating. One East German lady went out of her way to show us around the hotel. Amazing. The breakfast was excellent: very tasty. We slept very well, without any disturbances. The location is very accessible.

The Kreuz in Malters is a historic treasure in Malters, 3 generations. Very fine Restaurant, wood panels, fine cuisine.
Very friendly and highly skilled staff. Owners are completely involved.
A few rooms are towards main street.

The location, views and friendly staff.
We booked the hotel with breakfast. Big mistake. Kitchen staff are too lazy to change the menu everyday. We stayed for 5 days and breakfast was the same everyday, some cold cuts, boiled eggs and bread.
About the rooms, the bathroom sliding door fell on my head while bathing. They don't provide any toiletries. Beds uncomfortable. Double beds are made by joining twin beds. Splits while sleeping creating a gap between beds. The floors are too squeaky and create a lot of noise.
Also, if you still want to book, make sure to ask for a room in the main building.
